This is an old horse ranch rehomed(remolded )for accomodations. Host was very friendly, gave good instructions, as well as information regarding some local interests, restaurant. Room was modest, very clean, had amenities like a hotel. Fortunately I was the only guest in this particular section, as the wall are very thin was any noise ( if this something you would care to consider). There is outdoor comfortable seating, an area that has a fire pit, a barbecue. The moon, stars are spectacular as you away from streets, hi ways, and major housing. It's a country atmosphere. The only drawback is that it smells of old horse urine. So if you choose to access this property I suggest to bring a great scented candle, or air freshener. There is no TV( didn't need). There are great trails to run, bike close by
I stayed in a Stable room. The remodel of it from a stall to a lovely space was done well. It was very comfy with good beds and a nice bathroom. The a/c unit was loud for my tastes and I wished there was a kitchenette of some kind. The grounds are amazing. If I’m ever back in the area, I will definitely stay there again.
You must visit our amazingly unique & awesome neighborhood businesses. Life Under The Oaks Lavender Farm is next door to us. This gorgeous Blair family-owned farm has spectacular year round events. Check out their site for a list of events, visit their shop for the best lavender products, walk the fields, and don’t forget to pet the donkeys!
Then go around the corner to
Sue & Jerry’s Trading Post. You’ve never seen anything like it! It’s a unique resale, consignment, gift shop. It features western collectibles and hand crafted larger than life art. Sue & Jerry have owned & operated in beautiful downtown Oracle since 1985. Check their site for upcoming events too. Their Wednesday night Farmer’s Market is fun with vendors, food & live music!
For the best food in town, you will have to visit the Oracle Patio Cafe and Market. Chef David never ceases to amaze! He and his equally talented wife Stacy will cook you up something special. They have vegetarian, gluten free and vegan options too. Make sure you save room for pie! Check out their site to see the menu & to have them cater your event at El Rancho Robles. They do a beautiful job & have done dozens of weddings & retreats at the Ranch. We highly recommend!
