Yes, we're located in a prime, peaceful and green Seminyak neighbourhood just behind Seminyak's main beach approach, called Batu Belig Street. 7 reasons it's a fantastic location: • known as one of Seminyak's best residential neighbourhoods - safe, well connected and full of high-end villas. • from the villa front door it's a very short walk (7-10mins) to Seminyak/Batu Belig beach where there's an abundance of beachside entertainment - cafes, restaurants, beach clubs, sunset walks and lots more. You can walk directly along the beach to W Hotel, Potato Head, Cafe del Mar, Finn's Beach Club, Alila, Ku de Ta and all the best spots for beachside cocktails and, dining. • Batu Belig itself is packed with shops, cafes, supermarkets, massage, nail spas, ATM's, as well as some of Seminyak's best-loved restaurants. Famous eateries Watercress (known as Bali's best breakfasts) and Hog Wild are all within a few minutes walk, as are lots of other tasty food spots. • downtown/central Seminyak (1.2 kms away) begins at the top of Batu Belig Street. Grab/GoJek taxis will pick up and drop off from the villa, which isn't permitted in the Bar Street areas run by the taxi kartels. No, you can book right now which is the best way to get the dates you want. CAN WE HAVE AN EARLY CHECK IN/LATE CHECK-OUT? Our standard check in time is 14.00, and check out 11.00. We always accommodate early check ins or late check outs if possible. We can only confirm when the guests either side of your stay give us their arrival/departure times. Usually that only happens 1-2 days before. But we'll note your request, & always do our best to help you. If we can't, you can anyway use our free left luggage service in advance of check-in or after check-out. HOW WILL WE CHECK-IN & CHECK OUT? CHECK IN - To organise your smooth check in, pls send us your flight number and arrival time / departure time in Denpasar. We'll then suggest a time for your check in at the villa. Our villa manager Wayan will meet you at the villa at the agreed time. If you're coming from elsewhere in Bali please tell us what time you expect to arrive at the villa, and Wayan will meet you there at the agreed time. (check-in can be arranged anytime from 14.00pm onwards) Wayan will make sure you're in comfortably, give you keys, help you with orientation & answer any other questions. CHECK OUT - A day or two before you leave, please tell Wayan at what time you plan to depart (11.00 am is standard check out time) & he'll then come to take back the keys & check you out. We have a free left luggage service so if you're arriving in Bali very early or leaving late, you can leave your bags with us outside of check in/check out times - pls let us know if you'd like to use it. CAN YOU ACCOMMODATE MORE THAN 6 PEOPLE? Our advertised prices are for groups of 1-6 people in number. If your group is more than 6, please contact us directly. The bed in our 3rd bedroom is a custom-made bed which is bigger than King size. It can easily accommodate 2 adults + 2 children for example, or 3-4 children, depending on your group. Or, we can hire in fold-up beds for bigger groups. Please note, for the guests over 6 in number, we charge an extra USD$40 per extra person per night. eg If there are 7 people in your group, the additional charge is USD$40 per night. If there are 8 people in your group, the additional charge is USD$80 per night. If there are 9 people in your group, the additional charge is USD$120 per night. The maximum we can accommodate is 9 people . CAN YOU ORGANISE AIRPORT PICK-UP? If your booking is for 5 or 5+ nights then a 1-way/1-time free airport pick up is included in a people carrier, big enough for 6 people + luggage. Transfers for 6+ guests can be organised for a small fee - please ask us ;) If you stay is 1-4 nights and the airport transfer isn't included with your booking, we can organise one for you anyway. A 1-way/1-time transfer costs USD$35 (total price, not per person) for a 6-seater people carrier. We have many guests who are families with children, and they love the pool, our grass garden & the ability to turn Bedroom 3 into a cinema room which is a cool and relaxing place to entertain children after a day out in the sun! If you would like us to provide items such as pool fences, baby feeding chairs, bottle sterilisers or cots then we hire these in from a company whose products meet Australian consumer standards. See next question for cooking at home options.... WE WANT TO COOK AT THE VILLA. IS THE KITCHEN ANY GOOD, AND WHERE TO BUY FOOD? Our new kitchen is fully equipped. There's a gas hob, microwave, blender, rice cooker, toaster, family-sized fridge/freezer too, pots, pans, professional cook's knives, and all utensils. There's no oven as these are rare in Bali. Tea, coffee, sugar and filtered water are complimentary. There are several 7/11's/Cocomarts within walking distance, and also a big Western style supermarket, perfect for any family-sized shop, a couple of minutes drive away in the direction of Berawa. We also provide guests with details of great food companies which deliver fresh produce, meat and fish to the villa door - better quality, prices and choice than can be found at any supermarket. CAN YOU RECOMMEND DRIVERS FOR DAY TRIPS? CAN TAXIS / DRIVERS COME TO THE VILLA DOOR OR IS THE ROAD TOO SMALL? We use a network of tried, tested and safe drivers. For approx US$45-50 per day you can hire a people carrier, gas included, and approx 10 hours of the driver's time. Let us know & we'll be happy to give you the drivers' contact details. It's a beautiful and relaxing space, stylishly decorated & well equipped with everything you could need. IS THE VILLA CLEAN AND WELL MAINTAINED? 100% yes! We take cleanliness very seriously & we're proud of our 5* cleanliness rating. There is no mould, spider webs, cockroaches, ants nests or anything like this. Our cleaner Wayan cleans everything on the day of your arrival, and then 6days/week after that. We guarantee the cleanliness is as good as any 5* hotel! HOW DOES LAUNDRY SERVICE WORK? Wayan our villa manager can pick up your laundry and drop it off at the local laundromat for you. It will come back clean & ironed 1-2 days later. There's a small charge calculated by weight (usually no more than a few dollars per load) which can be settled with Wayan directly. We advise not to put beloved or expensive items through the Balinese laundry. Please note, as we don't control this out-of-house laundry service, we cannot be responsible for any losses or damage.
