Caretta Cottage was a nice place to stay. Great location. Less than 1 block from the beach and a safe place to bike. Grocery store was 4 blocks away. Lots of interior space, but we spent most of our time on the beautiful, huge porch. Wi-fi was spotty. The garage doors are only accessible from the inside. It is Not handicap accessible, though one bathroom has a shower with a small curb, and there’s a walk-in shower in the basement (but that was using steps). My bad knees struggled up the steps, but it was worth it to stay there. We had an overall enjoyable time.

The location of this house was perfect! The public beach access was half a block away and the beach itself in that location was not super busy so you didn’t have to go far to pick a good spot. The house itself is older and could use some updates but the spacious screened porch was a highlight. One of the showers and the kitchen faucet took some getting used to - they initially sprayed everywhere if you weren’t careful. The AC was nice and cold and there were fans in all the rooms so we were able to stay cool even in the high summer heat and humidity.

Loved staying at Carter’s Cottage - fun summer trip with family and grandkids - the place was big enough to spread out and not feel on top of each other. Loved being walking distance to the beach and having a huge basement for kids to play in! Will def be coming back!

This property was just lovely with close proximity to the beach which is what I was hoping for. Would stay here again in the future.

Such a great location! Felt right at home. Nicely kept and comfortable. Great amenities…ping pong table, beach supplies, dart board, kitchen supplies, etc. The enclosed large front porch was so adorable and beautiful. We enjoyed drinking our coffee, eating our meals, and hanging out there in the evening. Also, short walking distance to the beach. Such a nice beach property. Will definitely return!
