Déjà Vu is a beautiful A-frame in a serene coastal setting, close to Brookings and many trails and viewpoints along the Boardman Scenic Corridor. It was the perfect home base for a weekend on the coast. Eliza was welcoming and responsive, and the cabin was clean with a well-equipped kitchen. The deck overlooking forest and ocean, clawfoot tub, and sauna were among the highlights. We hope to return again soon!

Architecture and layout was so cool - could tell someone put a lot of thought into it. Appreciated so much the quiet and peace. It smelled woodsy and warm and nice with the plants. The bathtub was great. The sauna was wonderful. Beds were comfortable. Already planning to go again!

We loved the cabin from the moment we walked in. It was immaculately clean, tidy and organized. The house is so creative and with all the windows you feel as if you are outside. You can open the house up and hear all the birds singing their beautiful songs. The beds are comfortable with very nice bedding and plenty of space to put your personal items. The views from both upstairs and downstairs are spectacular. It’s close enough to Brookings to make it convenient but far enough out of town to feel remote. There are neighbors around the cabin, but we never saw or heard them. You feel like you are alone on top of the hill. The sauna and the bath tub are perfect after a day of hiking. Soaking in the tub with the view is incredible. We only wished we stayed longer than four nights. We love this place and can’t wait to go back.

This has been one of my most favorite places to stay. Eliza and Johan are wonderful hosts. They were very proactive in assuring our stay was wonderful and that we were well accomodated with everything that we needed for a pleasant stay. They are very knowledgeable of the area and directed us to beautiful locations and beaches nearby. I felt right at home with the plants, the art, the large deck, sauna, the yoga mats...it is just such a peaceful retreat to cleanse the mind. If you are in a much needed getaway, this is absolutely perfect!

Such a beautiful, comfortable and peaceful place. We felt so at home we really hated to leave. The house is laid out so well and that claw foot cast iron tub with that serene view was the cherry on top for me! Thank you so much for allowing us to use your home...and sharing your nice little bit of paradise. I really hope we can make it back some day. We truly enjoyed your art as well <3
