After a day of adventure, unwind in the luxurious soaking tub, or relax next to the fire. Conveniently situated just minutes away from all the Berkshires has to offer! The primary suite features a balcony overlooking the property and huge windows offering views of the lake and mountains beyond. Sleep soundly on a King memory foam mattresses and crisp white sheets. Enjoy the soaking tub in the primary bath with views of the lake. 3 additional bedrooms offer 1 Queen bed, 1 bunk bed with Full size bottom bunk and twin on top, as well as an office with a pull out Queen bed. For chefs enjoying the bounty of the Berkshires & the Hudson Valley, there is a fully stocked chef’s kitchen with quartz countertops, professional cooktop, and wall oven. There is even a sous vide immersion circulator for your use! A Nespresso coffee/cappuccino machine is provided to make your favorite coffee shop beverage at home! Cozy up in the living room with a gas fireplace and a 65” smart TV with surround sound. In the basement, you’ll find ping pong and air hockey tables, plus a washer/dryer. Enjoy outdoor games on the large, flat lawn and take one of the two kayaks for a ride around the lake. This home truly has everything you need!

This was a very elegant stay, fully stocked kitchen and easy instructions. Lots of activities and prepared for kids of all ages! Definitely a must visit!
We had a wonderful time
Had a great stay. This house was a great landing spot for us while we went skiing at Jiminy peak. Very nice and well kept home, very clean and well stocked. We spent most of the time out and about but was great to have a nice place to come home to each evening. Bummed there wasn't a bit more snow on the ground to do some proper sledding on the hill in the backyard, but kids had fun anyway!
We just returned home from our third stay at the house - it is, literally, like our home away from home. We've visited twice in January and once in August, so we've gotten to experience the area in both summer and winter. This trip we particularly enjoyed Dottie's Coffee Shop and Guido's market in Pittsfield, and skiing at Jiminy Peaks. The house is spacious), clean and comfortable. There's clear and friendly information there upon arrival, along with a bottle of wine and a package of cookies - this time chocolate macaroons which are to date our favorite. Gorgeous views from all the windows at the back of the house. Peaceful, quiet, a fireplace that turns on at the click of a button, huge smart TV and fully equipped kitchen. The master bedroom has a comfy king sized bed and ensuite bathroom with dual sinks and a soaking tub that overlooks the lake and mountains - a perfect way to unwind at the end of the day. Thank you Evergreen for another wonderful stay. We'll be back!
Really great house, plenty of space and great for a family get-together. Really nice kitchen, stocked with very nice cookware, and a pantry that had a lot of staples. Beds were comfortable, wifi was strong. Communication was great, we had a random power outage (found out later that a car had knocked over a power line), but communication was great, and wifi even worked for a couple hours on back up battery. They left lights on for our after dark arrival and left a bottle of wine and box of cookies. Only thing that could have been better was the weather... either snow or sun and it would have been gorgeous, but we just had 4 days of rain and overcast.

Cheshire is a quiet, rural community. We like to visit four nearby farms: Lakeview Orchard offers seasonal pick your own fruit and amazing cider donuts. Mountain View Farm has pick your own berries. You can buy fresh pastured eggs at Square Roots Farm, and Whitney's Farm Market has a small grocery with local produce - most notably their own tomatoes and corn.
The Ashuwillticook Rail Trail, winding 13 miles along Cheshire Lake between Pittsfield and Adams, is just down the road. For the more adventurous, an Appalachian Trail trailhead is 5 minutes away in the town of Cheshire.
The home is close to major cultural institutions, such as the Berkshire Museum (15 minutes), Mass MoCA (20 minutes), the Clark Art Institute (30 minutes), and Tanglewood (30 minutes).
Winter sports are close by with Jiminy Peak a 15 minute drive away. We are also close to southern Vermont resorts, with Mt. Snow and Stratton about an hour’s drive. Or, walk right outside and sled down the hill in our backyard.
You will need a car to navigate the Berkshires efficiently.
