Spacious rustic village house, in the Algarve countryside village Furnazinhas perfect for the full Algarve experience. With its 3 single beds and Double bed, it's perfect for a family trying to escape the hustle and bustle of the big city, or the commotion of the touristic hotspots. Close to sweet and salt water, perfect to cool down on hot summer days (dam 8 min, creek 14 min, beach 30min, by car), and right in the middle of the renowned Algarviana Trekking routes to enjoy the Algarve hills. The house was remodeled in 2000 and has been used for rural turism before being listed on Airbnb. It has some signs of time but that gives it a more authentic feel and it makes you feel more in line with the sorrounding region. The 3 bedrooms have a wardrobe each, while the living room where the double bed is has a closet in the hallway.

We had a very relaxing and enjoyable stay in Furnazinhas! Bruno and his father were extremely hospitable and friendly! The villagers were also friendly. The surroundings are quite scenic and there were plenty of walking options around the village itself. The house was very spacious and very well equipped. We quite enjoyed making fresh orange juice using local oranges with the mechanical juicer as well as a ideal Nespresso machine for a easy Coffee in the morning! Bruno and his father were also very helpful with obtaining local produce, we were after some honey and Nêsperas (Loquat) fruit - all very delicious indeed!
Super Unterkunft für Naturliebhaber und Menschen, die das authentische und untouristische Hügelland der Algarve kennen lernen möchten. Bruno ist jederzeit schnell zur Stelle und hilft bei allen Fragen.
We hebben genoten van ons verblijf in het mooie huis en het Portugese, landelijke, leven een beetje kunnen ervaren. Vanuit het dorp zijn prachtige wandelingen te maken, liggen verschillende stadjes in de buurt en kun je genieten van de rust! Bruno en zijn ouders doen al het mogelijke om het je naar de zin te maken.
We stayed 18 days at Bruno's place, during Christmas and New year period. We wanted a peaceful place and it was exactly what we looked for. The house on the first two days was a bit cold, but after having the wood burner on it became very cosy. Bruno and his parents who live right opposite the house were always friendly and helpful. They made us feel as part of the family and we loved the fresh oranges that they used to give us nearly every day, and the delicious Portuguese bread cakes. They all are very lovely people and we enjoyed our stay over there.
Furnazinhas ist ein ruhiges, authentisches Landdorf und das gepflegte Haus von Bruno liegt mittendrin. Die geräumige Wohnung mit einer Wohnküche, dem Hauptschlafzimmer und 3 kleineren Schlafzimmern liegt im Erdgeschoss. Die Aussicht geniesst man auf der grossen Dachterrasse! In der Wohnung ist alles vorhanden, was man braucht, inkl. Waschmaschine. Bruno und seine Eltern kümmern sich sehr um das Wohl der Gäste. Fragt nach, ob alles in Ordnung ist, gibt Tipps für Ausflüge und kümmert sich sofort um allfällige Probleme. Es können Wanderungen direkt ab dem Dorf unternommen werden und mit dem eigenen Auto lässt sich die hügelige Umgebung (z.B. Alcoutim-Martim Longo-Cachopo) erkunden. Zudem fährt man bequem in einer halben Stunde über die Schnellstrasse ans Meer, z.B. zum Einkaufen nach Vila Real S.A. oder Altura (Aldi). Wer das authentische Landleben schätzt und mit einem eigenen Auto unterwegs ist, ist hier genau richtig!

Small traditional village called Furnazinhas, where each resident has their own little plot of land that they take care of.
There isn't any commerce in the village, however, during different days of the week a fishmonger, butcher, baker, come to the village to sell their wares.
We advise guests to bring some food and drinks for the first night/ day and we will then point out nearest places for shopping.
The house is in the middle of the village which will allow you to interact with some of the villagers (if you want) as people still spend some time outside of their houses with their doors open like the old times.
A car is suggested for longer stays as it won't be possible to get everyday supplies in the village. There is a parking space just for you.
