Rene and Ginny’s place is a true oasis. We spent a month at this wonderful home while I was in SF for work. I could easily walk to my office and our toddler had plenty of great playgrounds, all within walking distance, to choose from. At the same time, the area felt very safe and peaceful. The home itself was very modern and had all we needed. It was tastefully decorated and the furniture/appliances were new and high-quality. And last but not least, the rental overlooks a green garden that helps to relax and slow down after a hectic day at work. Thank you Rene and Ginny! You have a beautiful home and we really, really liked it:)

We had the pleasure of staying at Rene and Ginny’s home for 3 months. From the moment we stepped foot in the door, we felt right at home - it’s even more beautiful than the pictures. It truly feels like a peaceful oasis in the middle of city; quiet, lovely neighbours, and plenty of space for the two of us. We loved the sliding doors, allowing you to enjoy the garden at any time of day. A garden like this is very unique in this part of SF - we thoroughly enjoyed it and loved to see Ginny & Rene take such good care of it. The place has everything you need (and more!). Great appliances, streaming services on the tv, on-site laundry and everything was stocked up when we arrived. The neighbourhood (Russian Hill) is lovely, you are right on the edge of North Beach where there’s plenty to do, many great restaurants, and provides for a good calf workout with these hills ;-) We couldn’t ask for better hosts. Absolutely terrific, in every way. Especially notable is the high end quality of the place and its furnishings. Sliding glass walls and heated floors make it feel luxurious. Location is perfect for lots of things including fantastic views, convenient bus routes, and ease of reaching lots of interesting parts of SF, or just steeply strolling the local blocks in an upscale part of town.

Ginny and Rene's place is one of my favorite Airbnb experiences I've ever had. The apartment is absolutely stunning, with an incredible view of the back yard, and feels like a private oasis in the city. It's well stocked for long-term stays, with all the toiletries, linens and kitchen things you might need to settle in. The wifi is strong and fast-- both my partner and I worked from home and never had any issues. And all of the details in the apartment make it feel both comfortable and luxurious (I now aspire to have radiant heat flooring in my own home one day!) Meanwhile, Ginny and Rene are absolutely ideal hosts: friendly and accommodating when you need them, and happy to let you do your own thing otherwise. They furnished the apartment with a second desk when we mentioned needing one and got the apartment cleaned for us halfway through our stay. We're big fans of both the apt & the hosts, and hope to come back one day.
