Dana's place is right on the beach, and a lovely spot to enjoy the Pacific ocean! Her family is amazing - Mario, Lucy, Angie and the boys are the most amazing family. They truly were there for any little thing anyone might need, and they sincerely wanted to make my stay amazing. The house is literally three doors down from a great restaurant with some of the coldest beers in Nicaragua. There are two lovely hammocks, and two private bedrooms. One private bath with hot water and the best of all - an outdoor shower. I can't say enough about how wonderful this family is! Unfortunately I had to leave early - and they were all there to see me off. They are absolutely incredible! I can't wait to return. Thanks, Dana - for everything, and hopefully see you and your family soon

Danas house is simple, right on the beach. We miss water in the "kitchen", mosquito nets. You have to clean the floors every day (sand from the beach). It´s much mony for this house. Dana is nice and helpful

Dana and her family were wonderfully gracious and helpful.nthey even drove us from Leon to las penitas. The house is very basic but right on the beach and has a great outdoor shower. If you are looking for a basic and relaxing place, this is an excellent option.

Dana made me feel like I was part of the family. She went way out of her way to accommodate me and make my stay there as pleasant as possible. I thoroughly enjoyed me stay there and was extremely happy and content with everything. The house is located in northern Nicaragua on the pacific coast and is not really in a so called neighborhood. It was an extremely quiet and relaxing area right on a beautiful peaceful beach. Very few people on the beach and an excellent restaurant practically next door. Within walking distance of little stores and other restaurants and bars. If a person wanted to stay in that part of the world I would highly recommend staying there if the sound of the ocean and warm water and an awesome atmosphere is what you are looking for.
