We had a comfortable stay in Ilkley, and the house was just as advertised. It is about 10 minutes walking from the center of town, and close to a supermarket, which was handy. Dave was responsive and easy to communicate with. Thank you!

The house is clean, modern and thoughtfully renovated, with a well-equipped kitchen. Easy walking distance to Ilkley. It has everything you need for a lovely, homely stay. We were 3 adults (I think the sofa bed would struggle to sleep 2 adults comfortably, but fine for a night or 2!) The loss of stars are more a reflection of who manages the property. Nowhere in the listing does it outline the hefty £250 deposit (well over half the cost of our entire stay), and only advised after booking was confirmed. Also I have never been asked for passport ID for an air b&b. £250 being held on your account is not ideal when you have saved up for a trip away. I would absolutely recommend the house itself, but the very strict booking criteria would make me hesitate booking again.

There’s a £250 deposit to pay when you book and you’re also required to provide copies of ID for each guest. There’s a T&C questionnaire where they ask for all of your bank details, even after you’ve paid for the booking and the deposit. When I enquired about these things my questions were ignored and instead I received automated, unhelpful messages from “Dave”. The house is great though - clean and in a good location, close to Ilkley centre.
