Neighbourhood CHIADO has the fanciest bars, restaurants and shops in Lisbon, as well as beautiful “miradores” with incredible views of the city, historic monuments, churches, theatres and plazas.
The apartment is located at a short walk (5-min) of the beautiful Príncipe Real and Bairro Alto. Principe Real is a charming neighbourhood with a pleasant square and garden. You can find good restaurants and styling shops. Bairro Alto is a trendy neighbourhood that is the centre of Lisbon’s nightlife.
You are 5 min. walk from Rossio which is the liveliest square in the city, where people stop to sit and relax, or for a drink at the several atmospheric cafes with outdoor sitting (the most popular is the art deco Café Nicola on the western side). Also, you will find here the Rossio Station, Lisbon's most central station.
You are about 10 min. walking to Praça do Comercio/Terreiro do Paço, situated near the Tagus River. The plaza is home to the oldest cafe in the city, Martin da Arcada and the impressive Arco da Rua Augusta, which marks the entrance to the Rua Augusta, where the city downtown (Baixa) starts.

From the airport, you can take a taxi and the ride will take around 30 minutes, depending on the traffic and the taxi fare will be approximately 20€. Another alternative it’s to take the subway – take the red line at the airport and go until Alameda station (9 stations), then change to the green line (Cais do Sodré direction) until Baixa-Chiado station where you should go out (6 stations). The total trip is about 40 minutes and the ticket is 1.65€. You will find the apartment 5 minutes away (290m).
We are located in a very central area, the parking on the street is hard - but there are a few parking lots nearby. The closest one is Estacionamento Misericordia (200 meters).
