There is plenty of shared parking with the tasting room at the winery. You will walk through the gate, to the back and find the cottage nestled in the oaks which is connected to the tasting room. You can take in the vineyard views while making your plans to tour the area. Just 1 mile from Hwy 46, you can travel up to the towns of Paso or Templeton or down to the beaches of Morro Bay, Cayucos or San Simeon. Willow Creek Cottage is in perfect proximity to explore the central coast. Vineyard Drive is a wine enthusiast dream. Of course, you will want to start your tour at Changala and then take in the many world class wineries just minutes away! After a fun filled day, come back to Willow Creek Cottage and savor the memories of the day. The kitchen is fully equipped to cook full meals or make all the sides to go with the BBQ on the patio. Enjoy a glass of your favorite wine as you watch the sun go down and the stars coming out! You will never want to leave! -Guests may see many different types of wildlife such as deer, raccoons, squirrels, eagles, owls, hawks, and hummingbirds. All went as well as last time. Sorry to report we break one Changala water glass. Only found a barrel for trash outside, so left the recycle bag next to it. Suggest replacing the bread knife as it is very dull. Otherwise all was good. Thanks, Peter

This is a lovely and comfortable 2-BR "cottage" at the rear of the Chambala Winery with views of the vineyards and nestled in the coastal hills. It's quite peaceful, located in the hills West of Paso Robles, in wine country, and is very dark and quiet at night; one can see lots of stars. The location is convenient for Central Coast and wine-country exploration; guests can easily drive East to town in Paso Robles (20 min), West to the coast (approx 20 min), South to San Louis Obispo, or up the coast to and beyond San Simeon. The area presents many alternatives for both beautiful sights and outdoor activities. In the cottage, common areas are quite comfortable for lounging and socializing, and the bedrooms, while a bit spartan, are comfortable as well. The kitchen is reasonably well-appointed and equipped. Quality of pots, pans and utensils could be upgraded; though the essentials to cook "at home" are present. It was a good place to which to return after long, active days.
Place was an ok of a stay. We were hoping to get some wine tasting in since we were staying right behind a winery. We were hoping management company and winery worked together on tasting info. for guests. But to no avail. Inside was cute and clean. Beds were ok ( dipped) and some unexpected machine noise next to the second bedroom. A machine ran through the night ( not to loud but loud enough to wake me) storage is right outside of our window. Outside is simple and if you are arriving back to cottage after dark be cautious, there is no outside lighting. We used our phones as a flashlight. Overall an ok stay.
I really liked this place. It was clean, quiet and the host was very responsive and accommodating. Side note- anyone from out of town, yes the water smells because of the sulfur but nothing to worry about.

Located on a private vineyard property, adjacent to the tasting room. This home is in the rural part of Paso's beautiful westside wine country. Enjoy the best of both worlds - a peaceful retreat, close to wineries and vineyards (Vineyard Drive!) that's still within easy reach of town and its amenities, just a 20-minute drive away!
Uber, Lyft, and public transportation are available along with grocery and food delivery services. Ask our office for recommendations on wine tour drivers and more! Parking provided in the marked parking spot in front of the unit.
