Rachel’s place is very special. Myself, my partner and our two dogs were very comfortable and the dogs loved the huge backyard. The hot tub was amazing, everything in the home is clean and comfortable and we had everything we needed. Rachael is a great host - very helpful and communicative.

Rachel's home is nice and quaint! It perfectly suited the needs of a couple. The hot tub was awesome and the bed was comfy. Though it rained during most of our stay, there were plenty of indoor activities to keep us occupied (puzzles, books, record player). I can imagine this location would be the perfect launchpad for a summer retreat.

Our stay at Rachel’s cabin was delightful. We felt right at home as soon as we walked through the front door. We enjoyed our morning coffee on the deck and evening wind downs in the hot tub. Loved exploring all the cute towns around the lake. A fantastic, peaceful getaway not to be missed!

A gorgeous location overlooking Clear Lake, an accessible, cozy and comfortable home that allowed my wife and I to relax (hot tub!!!) and for me to work remotely online without a hitch, and a super-responsive host who prepared a warm welcome and responded quickly to any question or need. I'm not the greatest at building fires, but we were able to warm ourselves by the wood-burning stove, and didn't mind the couple of rainy days during our 1-week stay. Rachel went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable, and her simple Guidebook made things easy. It was peacefully private, as we had the place entirely to ourselves, and it is her own home when guests are not using it- in this way it feels personal and lived in, and I was impressed by Rachel's generosity in sharing it. We had a lovely experience from start to finish, and I would return in a heartbeat!

Rachel is very responsive as a host. We only cooked breakfast such as eggs and toast etc. at the place but seemed like the place had everything you need to cook a full meal. It is about 10 mins to kelseyville town. 10-20 mins from a bunch of wineries. 5-15mins from local restaurants. So all in all a great location with just enough distance to have a peaceful getaway. We will be back!
