Marika and George are incredibly wonderful people, they make this place! Marika hand paints fabric and makes jewelry and she was BEYOND generous with our kids, showing them how she drills holes in pearls and letting us paint our own square of fabric with her paint. The boat tour through George's company was one of our favorites from our entire trip and we got to leave right from the house. Tahiti Iti is beyond beautiful and the people are just wonderful. We are so incredibly grateful we came to this part of the island. But our most incredible moments were honestly sitting on the deck watching the sun set and watching as the flood lights lit up the sealife underneath. That deck is pure magic. It got warm at night with no AC, but it aired out in the day and our kids slept fine in the loft. We could not get the Wifi to work other than in the driveway and it was our only way of communicating with our phones which was difficult at times. But a small sacrifice to make in paradise!!

Exceedingly helpful and attentive hosts. Gave us great recommendations and gave us very late check out to accommodate our flight! Additionally she showed us her beautiful work (as I requested). The tour through her husband was excellent. Fabulous time!

Marika was immediately welcoming to me and my family. She went above and beyond on so many levels, including bringing tasty breakfast treats each morning to us. she also invited my 14-year-old daughter and myself to go on a snorkel with her in the evening and it was a magical introduction to the beautiful coral reef view, and the location with spectacular and the mobile gas station had great croissants! We also were there when the local market happened and were able to get lots of local food. When we left, marika gave my daughter and I a beautiful shell necklace. she also had wonderful local recommendations.

Marika is a wonderful hostess. She really goes out of her way to make sure you are comfortable and having fun. The location is epic. Nice house with a beautiful view right on the water. If you’re are surfer this is a great spot as well. You will not be disappointed with the place or the gracious family. The worst part about our stay was having to leave! Thank y’all for letting us stay in your slice of paradise.

incredible place to stay! Marika is so nice and very helpful! I used snorkel equipment and it was great to see the fish nearby.
