We spent our time here to celebrate the New Year with our family. It was a special trip for us and this was the perfect location. We enjoyed meals in the huge kitchen that has a great assortment of cooking supplies and spent time playing games by the fire. It was beyond gorgeous and is an incredibly spacious, nicely laid out location. I would highly recommend it to anyone.

Stayed here for a trip to Lutsen Mountain. It was just a short drive to the ski hill and worked great for us. Host was extremely friendly and very responsive. Checkin was easy. Cabin was very clean and as described. Worked great for our family of 6 and could have easily had a few more. Great stay overall!

Perfect North Shore cabin, in a perfect location to fully enjoy the North Shore. On this trip, I was looking for a cabin on a pristine, usable, quiet lake, that was close to Lake Superior, Grand Marais, and all the hikes we enjoy while staying on the North Shore. This cabin & location delivered! If you've ever stayed at Lutsen & chosen the paddleboard activity, Caribou Lake is the lake Lutsen brings you to. Since that time, I've wanted to stay at Caribou Lake. We swam, were on our paddleboard, kayaks (that are provided) & pontoon everyday. The lake is quiet, not a jetski lake. It's peaceful, clean & beautiful. We were minutes to all of our hikes & Grand Marais was not far. The cabin was perfect. Very nice & spacious, two decks for perfect lake viewing. Lots of room & everything needed in the kitchen-we like to prepare our meals. Everything was clean & inviting. Camfires at night by the lake & stargazing. Everything we wanted & more! We'll definitely be back!

We used the cabin as a launching pad to explore north (Grand Marais area) and around Lutsen. It was a welcome resting place in the evening after busy days exploring the area. Our group especially enjoyed the kitchen (fully stocked with all the tools you'll need) and sleeping arrangements to accommodate our kids. It's really nice to have two full bathrooms. Remember to bring your bug spray if you're coming in the summer when you go hiking! We ran out of time to utilize the kayaks, but it would be a beautiful activity while you stay here.

We stayed here for the memorial day weekend and we could not have asked for a better cabin experience. The cabin is spacious for 10 people and it is much better than the photos. The living area and kitchen was my favorite place. Specially the rocking chairs :) We enjoyed fire pit next to the lake and Kayaking was fun too (kayak provided by Theresa) . Highly recommend the place and the host .
