Saba is an amazing host and his apartment is great! Felt completely safe in the area and Saba’s directions for checking in and traveling to Bethlehem were very clear. He was happy to answer any questions I had and was very welcoming. He showed me around the area, taught me about life in Palestine and made sure I had everything I needed during my stay. I can’t recommend his place enough!

Saba’s place is located in a great spot. Not even 100 steps and you are inside the Church of the Nativity. The place itself is very charming, as it is made of unique curved stones, with all the modern amenities. Saba is a true gentleman as he invited my son and I to dinner at his home above and took us through Star Street (quite historic) for dessert on him. A wonderful square, 50 steps away, is where we ate, really fantastic restaurants (street food, local ones, not the tourist ones)great shops and very friendly people. My son and I came from Italy on an extended vacation and we ended up having a nice vacation in Bethlehem, because we really didn’t have to walk hardly anywhere, only for haircuts and a bank that had the best exchange rates. I strongly suggest you find a taxi driver at the Damascus Gate, one that can go into the West Bank and into Israel. It costs more, but it saves a lot of stress as the buses get crowded coming from the Gate.

dear readers, our stay at Saba’s place was simply wonderful! We absolutely wanted to stay with a Palestinian host, and we made the best decision. We were pleasantly surprised because the stay was even better in reality than on picture!. The apartment was spacious, very cosy, confortable and very clean. The apartment is very centrally located so we were able to explore the city immediately upon our arrival. Saba contacted us before our arrival with all the necessary instructions to get there and gave us advice and stayed in constant contact with us during our whole stay. Saba is a top host, very pleasant & helpful. We definitely recommend his stay!

Saba war super zuvorkommend, war schon vor der Anreise mit Rat und Tat zur Hilfe. Hat sehr hilfreiche Tipps gegeben und war zu jeder Frage offen und aufgeschlossen. Ich kann die Unterkunft echt nur empfehlen. Wir haben was zusammen unternommen und am Vorletzten Abend sogar zum traditionellen Essen zu sich eingeladen. Auch bei der Abreise war er behilflich indem er zu besseren Abreise ein Tipp gegeben
