Located in the heart of Istanbul, this fully refurnished, 1br apt is just minutes away from the tram,subway,bus,ferry, 15min away from the old town, 7min away from Galataport, 6min away from Cihangir, 10min away from shopping district Nişantası.Situated right on front of the Bosphorus, you can easily take the ferry to the Anatolian side. 4km’s away from Bebek(Istanbul’s trendy spot along the Bosphorus that is well-known for nice cafés-shops)this stylish house also overlooks the Bosphorus itself. The building was built in the early 1800’s partly stone and partly brick and mortar. As the final building took shape in early 1900’s, the unique design appeared over time and the main character is that there is no geometry or symmetry. Each floor has a different shape and size. This was a common standard of the times. There are three flats on four floors, the top floor consists of a two floor and a terrace, the ground floor consists of a corner shop which sells all the basic essential’s with liquor license and a vegetable grocery store open from early morning to around 10 pm, there is a butcher and a ladies hair dresser 10 meters on the left hand side. We renovated the building about 10 years ago and re renovated it this particular unit on the first floor in December 22, everything is brand new. The bed room was smaller than what we are used to so to compensate for the small room we put the biggest bed possible 180 x 200 cm and placed it on a custom made wood fitting and gave it a boat feel, sort of like a boat cabin. Raised the bed a little higher then usual to create space for luggage and any extra shopping and also installed funky lighting with the control panel beneath the window to make it extra cosy. There is also a classic make up mirror with a dimmer to control the 10 light bulbs surrounding the mirror. The rest of the unit is super practical and comfortable, there is a work desk facing the Bosphorus over looking the local high street and a sofa bed incase of need for a child?

位置十分便利，码头和地铁就在走路几分钟的地方，坐船去亚洲区或者王子岛都很方便，房间非常舒适，可以看到大海，房东回复很及时，如果下次再来土耳其，我会再次选择住在这里！

I am happy with my stay at Arzu and Cem's place and would highly recommend for everyone traveling to Istanbul. Location wise, this place is a 5-min walking distance to the metro line which connects to all the attraction places and is walkable distance to Taksim Square where you could find restaurants, entertainment, night life, etc. There are 3-4 small restaurants in the area and there is a grocery shopping nearby. The unit is on the 2nd floor and this building has no elevator. However, going up the stair on the 2nd floor isn't too bad. The building is on a slope alley and luckily Uber/Taxi find this place quite easily. The taxi to the airport is around 800 lira. The bed is comfortable and the kitchen is fully stocked. The host is communicative and is happy to help when I had a trouble and she lives close by. Arzu and Cem - thank you again for being such a gracious host and all of your help. If I visit Istanbul again, I would be happy to stay at your place.

This is an absolutely charming place. The main windows look down the street to the Bosphorus and you can watch the boats on the water and the changing colours in the sky and sea. Arzu and Cem have thought of everything and the place is very well set up - well equipped kitchen, very comfortable couch, Netflix, maps, Istanbul cards - the works! We were so happy in this home away from home. Also, the location is terrific with bars and restaurants within comfortable walking distance and very well connected to so many forms of public transport. We travelled far and wide on trams, ferries, the funicular and the Metro! Thanks for a great stay in Istanbul!

What an awesome place, I had a bad headache and I couldn't find a pharmacy since it was late, but I popped into the first aid box, and tada, parecetamol. This is the best Airbnb I've ever stayed in. Excellent location, Arzu answered my questions super fast, and checked on us to make sure everything was okay. It's very convenient to have a store down the building, and the bed is very comfortable. The property of Arzu and Cem’s is a must if you are planning a trip to Istanbul.

The neighborhood is bang in the middle of the city and is uniquely tucked away due to its business culture, this means its super quite after work hours, the hustle of the city gives way to peace and quite after work hours. There are a couple of Cafe’s and bars such a “Kaiser” ( the hamburgers are not bad) 100 meters on the right hand side, “Runner Up” and a up and coming trendy bar “Setup” that gets busy thru Thursdays to Saturdays which is an other 100 meters down the road from “Kaiser”. The original of the biggest coffee shop chain is also locate down the road from “Setup” namely “ Kahve Dunyasi”. There are couple of yoga / pilates studios in the neighborhood, one of which is located between Kaiser and Set up, also a nice boutique gym called “Up Sporting Club” aka “Up Gym”

出行信息

Kabatas is the name of the neighborhood. The Tram line starts from this station and departs every five minutes until midnight. The line can take you to “Galata Port” which is one stop a way, you can actually walk there in five minutes. Tophane and Karakoy stops which are two stops a way or 15 mins walking. From Karakoy you can take the historic funicular to “Tunel” that takes you into the west end of the main street of “Istiklal Caddesi” of the historic neighborhood of “Beyoglu” where all the cultural action takes place from bars, restaurants, museums, churches, synagogs, mosques, art galleries and cinemas…
Alternatively, you can take the modern funicular from Kabatas to “Taksim” that leaves every 6 mins. Taksim is the other end of the “Istiklal Caddesi” from Taksim you can get in to the main subway and go all over Istanbul. Such as “Nisantasi” which is the posh neighborhood of istanbul where all the high end brands are located along with bars and restaurants such as famous Italian restaurant “ Cipriani”.
If you are up-to driving in Istanbul you can park your car in the neighborhood. However there are two Valet services and a garage that is located next to “ Kahve Dunyasi” in case you cannot find a place.
