Wir haben den Aufenthalt bei Silvia sehr genossen: Silvia ist eine äusserst unkomplizierte, aufmerksame und hilfsbereite Gastgeberin. Die Unterkunft war mit viel Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet, sehr sauber und gepflegt. Sie war mit allem ausgestattet, was das Herz begehrt. Wir erhielten jederzeit Unterstützung von Silvia bei Fragen (Einkaufsmöglichkeiten, Taxis), bisweilen hat uns Silvia auch ins nächste Dorf zum Einkaufen mitgenommen. Wir empfehlen den Aufenthalt bei Silvia absolut und unbedingt.

My boyfriend and I stayed at Silvia’s for 5 days of our trip and it was amazing. The backyard is so beautiful and private. The most beautiful beach with many bars is only a 13 minute walk away. Silvia was so kind and answered any questions we had and even shared some local food with us while staying. She set us up with the best taxi driver who let us stop at an ATM and for groceries before dropping us off. The stay was perfect.

Was the perfect stay for a vacation with my girlfriend. The house is clean and stunning. Silvia is a great host, responsive, flexible and friendly. The location was perfect for us: Several of the best beaches on the island are all within a 15 min drive (max) - I encourage exploring the various, less known beaches around, some are real gems without many (or any) people. Just be weary regarding dinner, seemingly on the whole island (and obviously worse outside of St. John/English Harbour) there is a very limited selection of restaurants open after 17:00 and you may find yourself planning your days around where you will eat for the night (to reassure you, there are various good options, just not so many). Also would recommend renting a car - probably a 4x4 is best, but we got around just fine with a Honda She. Overall, a perfect experience for those wanting to explore the genuine side of the island rather than being parked in a resort. Grazie di tutto Silvia, spero di tornare presto ;)

Silver Moon is in a great location. You can walk to Turner Beach in 20 minutes without using the main road and of course you can drive there in 4 minutes. The accommodation was as described. The front porch is the highlight overlooking a lovely garden. The only problem we had was with the bed being up against a wall on one side. This is not a complaint because Silvia sent us a video and we knew exactly the situation before we got there. We just found that scooting out the end of the bed is tough when you get to a certain age. However, one of us used the perfectly adequate single bed in the living area, problem solved. Silvia was a lovely host and even went to the trouble of preparing herbal concoctions for my wife when she got an ear infection and bad cough. It was very kind of her. On a side note, we got to see Silvia’s other property, Sugar Moon, which is up the hill behind Silver Moon. It is gorgeous, check it out if you have the budget.

Silvia è molto ospitale e farà di tutto per aiutare e per trovare qualsiasi soluzione o risposta alle tue domande, è molto attenta al dettaglio e pronta a far di tutto per farti passare uno splendido soggiorno nel suo bellissimo appartamento! Tutto è perfetto, lo spazio è ottimo per passare dei momenti fantastici rilassandosi e guardando i colibrì volare tra i fiori di Moringa, siamo stati benissimo al punto che sembrava di essere a casa nostra ma ai Caraibi, consiglio assolutamente di soggiornare da Silvia, renderà perfetto il soggiorno! Dopo 2 giorni di visite ed aver girato tutta l’isola abbiamo capito di aver trovato il miglior luogo dove soggiornare visto che 2 tra le più belle ( per me le più belle in assoluto) spiagge di Antigua si trovano a 1 e 2 minuti di auto: Turners beach e Darkwood beach, jolly harbour è a 5 minuti e la splendida fig drive a 10 minuti di auto.
