Enjoy the incredible lake views on the double deck and from most of the rooms inside the home. This is an ideal vacation spot for families and friends that want to make unforgettable memories and unplug from their busy lives. WHAT TO KNOW: Upon arrival you'll park in the off-street parking (2 spots in front of garage, one spot on the side of the garage, and one spot at the lower end of driveway below firepit area)***Please make sure not to block any neighbors driveways. The main floor offers a rustic living space with tons of modern amenities. Comfortable seating and handcrafted wood furniture are scattered throughout. Enjoy the 4K HDTV in the living room - connect to your streaming account or use the Netflix account provided. Being at a hideout location, we have satellite Internet, which generally works really well. If multiple people are streaming, it might be a bit choppy. In that case, we have a variety of DVDs located near each TV. The location is not too far from town to enjoy some of the great local restaurants, (check our guest guide) but if you’re making most of your meals at the Hideout, we have you covered. The full gourmet kitchen has everything you'll need to prepare and cook meals for the crew. Gas grill on the upper deck (propane provided), oven, microwave, crockpot, toaster, waffle iron, stainless steel pots and pans, iron skillets, and dutch ovens. The indoor dining table seats 8 and the outdoor dining table seats 8 as well. A couple folding tables provided if you need additional seating. The newly built kitchen island with butcher block countertop is a popular favorite for charcuterie spreads and gathering in the kitchen. In the big kitchen cabniet to the right of the dining table you'll find 8 crystal wine glasses, 8 plastic wine glasses (if you're roaming around outside), 4 crystal rocks glasses, and 8 pilsner glasses for a variety of adult beverage options. We're also stocked with dishware, glassware, and kids plates, bowls, cups, and utensils. Two main floor bedrooms with new white bedding, 4 pillows, and quilt comforters. One bedroom is slightly bigger than the other and has an incredible view of the bay. The other bedroom has a view of the firepit area and part of the lake. Extra Pendleton blankets provided in each bedroom. The lower level of the home was just recently renovated with a large bedroom and master bathroom with standing shower, kitchenette area, game room with professional size ping pong table, laundry room and access to the lower level deck. This is a popular area for movie nights (with old fashioned popcorn machine) and kids play area. With a large family or even two separate families on vacation, it's nice to have another living space to spread out. The lower level deck also has amazing views of the lake with bar seating and cornhole boards. Plug in the string lights and carry-on into the evening. Right around the corner is a storage area supplied with fishing poles, rafts, and other outdoor equipment. The aqua lily floating pad is attached underneath the deck just behind the storage area by the fire pit. Feel free to unhook it and take it down to the dock. The aqua lily pad has a cord and anchor system you can hook up to the dock, so it doesn’t float away. The firepit area is a family favorite at the Hideout! Built-in benches, log seating, and a bench swing is provided for the whole crew to get together. A hand crafted wooden table is built in where you can filet fish (use stainless steel cutting board), display food, or keep s’mores incredients. There are three separate firewood piles on the property you can take wood from for the firpit. One is on the lower level deck, the second is to the left of the dock stairs, and the third is to the right of the garage. Down at the dock, you’ll enjoy swimming, relaxing, fishing, kayaking, and canoeing. One canoe and one tandem 2-seater kayak is provided for guest use. Lifejackets are provided in the storage area under the deck by the fire pit. Please make sure children are supervised by an adult at all times down at the water. Feel free to bring your own boat and use our private dock slip or you can call the local marina and they will deliver right to the dock. A few cabin notes: Pets are NOT allowed, if you’re caught with a furry friend you’ll be asked to leave or fined. We have a 10 human maximum rule. If you need to request additional guests, please do so prior to booking for approval. If you bring more people than accounted for on your reservation, you will be charged $150 for each human over said number. ALWAYS have adult supervision with children near dock and waterfront.
