Let's just say we were sad to leave at the end of our stay. This Glass house has so much charm, a neat history, an amazing view of a lake with lots of birds & a bonus of peace and tranquility if that's what you're looking for. We were able to go for a walk around the area and pet the sweetest horses which was lovely. We decided to bring our own food to cook so we can just stay, relax and take it all in but things are close enough and easily accessible. Anable was super with communication and we ended up going to one of the springs (rainbow springs) she had suggested on her to do list on our way there which was wonderful. It's a beautiful part of Florida that most people never get to see. We will definitely be back.

Anabel and her family are hosting a 5 star Airbnb 100%! While traveling to the property my girlfriend and I had made general plans to go to the springs and visit the butterfly rainforest at the Florida natural history museum. However, when we arrived at the house, we immediately decided there was no way we could possibly leave this beautiful piece of artistry while we had it to enjoy. The natural landscape is breathtaking. Not only the lake and surrounding foliage, but the stunning wildlife including horses and ponies which are eager to accept provided treats and more gentle than you can imagine! We wanted to stay an extra night and Anabel was graciously accommodating, but it wasn’t in the cards when our pet sitter couldn’t swing the change in plans. We will be definitely be returning to the glass house on the lake whenever we can for more amazing experiences!

One word….peace. The space has expansive windows with no shades so you feel at one with nature. We watched the sun set over angel oaks and a beautiful waterfront area from our bed! Annabel gave us our space but was quick to respond to questions. She even let us pick an orange from her tree! The horses are beautiful and we got to feed them treats. Highly recommend

This charming home is well-appointed and provides all the basics for a comfortable stay. Beyond the common amenities, Anabel offers the hyper stimulated weary traveler a peaceful space for contemplation, reflection and a return to center. A rare find.
