plenty of space, right on the beach, great for our party of 6!
Amazing place to stay. Very spacious and the pool is such a nice touch. Very friendly host. Always responsive and gave us fruit on arrival! 5-10 minute walking distance to hotel restaurants, grocery store and cafes. Taxis were always out front providing rides to other restaurants in town and the airport.
Marlin House was lovely and spacious with a pretty nice location right on the beach and resort restaurants nearby. Prepare for a ‘Fiji time’ check-in as they were not ready for us upon the set check-in time. The host representative lives on the property but no problems there. Our one issue was they were doing construction on the property (this was to the private residence, not the Airbnb), and we were not told of this beforehand. It didn’t cause us any problems but we did feel power tools slightly dampened our relaxing holiday and the property didn’t feel very private with construction workers hanging around all day.
Impeccable place nestled between a few big hotels. Beach facing pool and the ocean right at your doorstep. This place was just beautiful.
First reactions were that the house was beautiful, spacious, and very clean. The pool was clean and warm. Beachfront access was really great, we had a lovely swim in the sea, and there are lots of places to eat within walking distance. The main issues were that none of the TVs worked, lots of dodgy looking electricals (one of the ceiling fans sparked, and several looked as though they may fall down. Plugs and wires were everywhere, including in the bathroom). Lots of clutter, a random, very old PC left piled on the bedroom dresser. Several lamps that were falling apart dotted around. The house wasn't child friendly in the slightest! The kitchen and backyard could really use a facelift. The rest of the property is lovely! We stayed for one night prior to an early flight, so the house served a purpose, and we would stay again for the convenience of being so close to the airport. Wouldn't recommend staying for any longer with the facilities in their current state.
