Canoeing, fishing, water skiing, wakeboarding & jet skiing, bushwalking, and hiking in the summer, and snow sports like skiing and snowboarding in the winter are just a few of the activities available at Howes Creek—Mount Buller, King Valley Wines & Lake Eildon camping. Summer Lea 1 is a tranquil setting surrounded by wide-open grasslands and natural forests. The ideal Mount Buller accommodation is 59 minutes from our 2 1/2 acres of property with native wildlife such as kangaroos, wombats, echidnas, and birdlife to keep you company. Mansfield Golf Club, King Valley Wines, and Delatite Wines are just of the nearby attractions available. Awe-inspiring natural beauty with waterfalls, lakes, mountains, and everything else Howes Creek and the surrounding areas have to offer. It's a cozy 155-square-foot tiny home with easy access to water, split air conditioning, a kitchenette, cooking equipment, and excellent bathroom facilities including a cassette toilet with a removable waste-holding tank, hand basin, and shower (gas heated for hot showers) for you to use. If you plan to spend your tiny house Victoria getaways here, we advise that you bring your basic necessities such as food and water during your stay with us. Thank you! IMPORTANT NOTE: Please advise that there will be a second tiny house called "Summer Lea 2" that sits on the same property. If you want to book in groups, please contact your land host 24 hrs in advance to make arrangements.

Spent my long weekend in this tiny little accommodation in the bush. I got very closed to the nature and spent my time in the peaceful and quiet environment. Really love the view and location - 15 mins drive to Mansfield and the food was amazing. The accommodation was very clean, it’s small but got everything we need. Host Paul and Cathy are really friendly and proactive, we really feel welcoming and will definitely come back again.

This was a perfect getaway location … starting coffee at the lovely Mansfield Coffee Merchant Cafe. Upon arrival at Summer Lea 1 we were presented with exactly what was described … a gorgeous tiny home, with firewood ready for us for the evening. So neat, tidy and clean - it really did feel like a home away from home. And what made it extra special, is we could bring our puppy with us. She loved it just as much as we did. Thank you Paul & Cathy for creating this wonderful destination for the perfect escape!
An absolutely gorgeous little house on a large property with a very friendly host :-) absolutely worth staying! Very comfortable just right for a night or two getaway from the mundane … loved the fire at night and its right near lake Eildon with some wonderful views and a short drive to town…

- Mansfield Zoo is open all year round and provides Gumboots for use during inclement weather. You can also take a picnic and use the BBQ area, relax, and spend the day there. Check white lion feeding times, amazing close-up observation during feeding times.
If you're interested in taking public transport, a winter bus service is available to and from Mt Buller. Ski-hire equipment is also available on and off the mountain.
Keep in mind to talk with your land host if you plan to explore the place so they can direct you to your desired destination.
