This was a perfect house for a large (7 people) family holiday with a well maintained pool and plenty of space. Nathalie greeted us on arrival and was very responsive to any queries during our stay. Suanita, the housekeeper, kept the house in good condition and cooked some wonderful meals for us (octupus/prawns in tomato sauce is highly recommended). All we had to do was buy the groceries and the meal was ready for us. This was a major highlight of our trip as we could spend more time exploring Mauritius rather than cooking. Grand Gaube itself is a local village and there were only a few tourists on the beautiful small beach within walking distance of the house whereas other beaches we visited were very busy. We thoroughly enjoyed the peace and quiet. Although you do need a car to do big grocery shops and get to restaurants, there are small superettes within walking distance where you can get very basic groceries and water. Would definitely recommend.

Wir waren von Anfang an begeistert. Wir wurden sehr herzlich von Nathallie empfangen. Suonita war auch da und hat uns zum Empfang ein wunderbares Mittagessen gekocht. Es ist ein sehr schönes gemütliches Haus, mit allem ausgestattet was man braucht. Die Küche ist super, die Badezimmer und Schlafzimmer sehr gemütlich und alles sehr sauber. Die Terasse ist sehr gemütlich und der Garten und der Pool sind wunderschön. Die Kids und auch wir haben den Pool geliebt. Wir haben uns wirklich sehr wohl und sehr sicher gefühlt, wie zu Hause. Sounita die Haushälterin war sehr hezlich und hat immer alles sauber gemacht, sowie auch der Gärtner der jeden Tag da war und unter anderem den Pool gereinigt hat. Die Lage ist etwas abgelegen, aber mit einem Auto kein Problem, es ist sehr schön, und der schöne Strand ist zu Fuss erreichbar. Wir würden jeder Zeit wieder zurück in dieses charmante Haus kommen. Wir können es von Herzen empfehlen. Danke für Alles!

We thoroughly enjoyed staying in this tastefully decorated, tranquil house. The verandah near the swimming pool was our favourite spot. The best part was that Stephanie and Laure were so responsive and accommodating and that the housekeeper Sunitha was warm and friendly. Car hire is recommended but there are restaurants and shops within easy driving distance. We hope to return to this beautiful house someday!

Nous avons passer un excellent séjour dans la maison qui est parfaite pour recevoir un famille. Les échanges avec Laure avant et pendant notre séjours ont été rapide et fluide, son accueil lors de notre arrivée a été parfait. Mention spéciale à Sunita qui nous a régaler de ses plats typiques Mauriciens et pour sa gentillesse pendant notre séjour. C'est un vrai plus en terme de service pour la maison.

Quelques jours passés dans cette très jolie maison. C’est vraiment un emplacement très calme avec un joli jardin tropical et une piscine agréable. L’eau est chaude. L’emplacement est très bon. On peut aller à la plage à pied. Il y a des petits commerces à proximité. Maison bien entretenue, très propre. Merci à Sunita pour sa gentillesse et son bon repas préparé à l’arrivée.
