This is a well-equipped and welcoming cottage in the perfect location for exploring the Antrim coast. There are several lovely trails just a mile from the cottage, including the Giant's Causeway walking paths and a well-kept footpath alongside the Bushmills railway that leads directly down to the beach. There are several villages and attractions a short drive away, so there is lots to explore. On the inevitable rainy day, the sunroom of the cottage is a great place to sit with a view of the sea, and there is Netflix on the television as well. Beds are comfortable and the cottage has everything you need, including a washer in the kitchen and a dryer in the utility shed outside. We have stayed in several Antrim coast cottages and this one is a tie for our favourite.

The only way to describe this property is "a home from home". It's a fantastic, spacious property, with plenty space for up to 8 guests and our family of 7 (2 adults, 4 kids and 1 dog) loved it! The property itself has everything you will ever need, including outside fridge freezer and BBQ. It has lovely outside dining tables with views of the North Atlantic. Our 1 year old Mini Schnauzer loved roaming around the back garden and barking at the sheep in the neighbouring field! Check in is so simple, with keypad entry, and from there, the hardest part is picking your room! Ironically, living in Northern Ireland, this is the shortest distance we've ever travelled for a family summer vacation. Because of Covid, we decided to keep it local, and booked 9 months in advance. Fortunately for us, it's the best weather we've ever had holidaying in Ireland! Holidaying wise, you have everything you will ever need, right on your doorstep. Lots of breathtaking scenery, lovely restaurants and cafes, beautiful beaches, stunning coastal walks. If you're looking for your next holiday location, then look no further and book Aird Clachan!
