Willi was able to accommodate my husband and I for a very last minute trip for to Hawaii and we spent a magical few days hiking and exploring the big island. Beautiful, rustic house in a peaceful and remote location (yet close to Volcanoes National Park and Hilo!) Willi was friendly and had great recommendations. We were glad we had a truck as the house is off a dirt road. We loved the indoor/outdoor feeling of the house, and all the local flowers and plants.

Highly recommended for a unique and an unforgettable experience on Big Island! Willi’s place and her hospitality surpassed all my expectations! Located just 10 minutes away from the VNP, her place is a serene garden oasis that gives a rainforest like feel. The house was spotless with all the essentials and a well equipped kitchen. The communication was seamless from the start to finish and her attention to details was spot on. The fireplace is a delightful touch and she stayed up late to start a fire for me. She was so thoughtful and kind to make tea for me before bed and a morning coffee. It was fun to have her friendly loving dog around. Every detail and effort was curated for a comfortable and a welcoming stay. In my years of traveling, Willi is a host like no other. I will definitely be staying here again and may be just visit Big Island again just for this experience!
