My husband and I loved staying in Jose’s treehouse! It felt very private even though you’re in the city surrounded by other homes. Such a unique experience. Highly recommend!

Jose's banyan tree is truly a magical place. It is sited, high on a hill overlooking greater Honolulu, yet feels like a throw back to time before the big ships arrived. The nights were cool, just perfect for sleeping but the morning bird chorus erupted to greet the day. (I enjoyed their songs with a cup-of-coffee.)The nights were surprisedly quiet as the town went to sleep about the same time we did. We are older, and the stairs proved to be no problem and even the ship's ladder to the bathroom, though challenging, was not an impediment. We slept better here than at a downtown resort. Jose's care and craftsmanship comes through in every aspect of the treehouse: everywhere you look you will see unique solutions to a full range of sticky details. I have been an Architect for almost 40 years and Jose has a full range of structural solutions that will not injure the Banyan Tree. 50-years from now someone will be putting a National Trust Plague up to preserve this wonderful place.

Awesome treehouse in the backyard of a nice house on a big property. Rad stove ran out and Jose fixed problem within 10 minutes.
