Tatiana’s place was incredible! I absolutely loved all of the design and it made for the perfect place to rest in between long work days. I would highly recommended this place to anyone staying in the area.

The house is absolutely beautiful and has almost everything you need. Tatiana was a great host, really helpful. There are a few things that could be improved, which I only mention because it’s quite pricey accommodation. The mattress in the fourth bedroom is very uncomfortable, it sinks in the centre. The other mattresses are comfortable but it meant my 12 year old nephew ended up having to share a bed with his mum so he could sleep. The light in that room also didn’t work. The driveway access to the house is very bumpy. Maybe worse because it had rained before we arrived, but the pot holes are massive to navigate around. It was tough not to scratch the underside of the car. The listing did mention no washer and dryer, but I was surprised there isn’t one at a house this size. The front bedrooms are noisy as there’s many police sirens going by at night, but obviously that’s out of the control of the host. Newburgh has a high crime rate when we checked online so I guess that’s why.

The house is beautiful and spacious. We decided to cook a holiday dinner and I brought my own pots because most Airbnb’s have terrible kitchen ware, but the kitchen had everything a normal home would have. The rooms are a good size, and the fourth room has a day bed as advertised, best for kids or a quick stay for one adult. There aren’t places to unpack your clothes in every room, but the house is perfect for groups or families, so don’t be deterred by that. My group of four felt very comfortable. Note that you probably shouldn’t bring more than two cars. No parking out front, safe parking in designated driveway.

We came from Texas to visit our son for Parent's Weekend at West Point Military Academy. Pros: Nice bedding and comfortable beds, beautifully decorated, kitchen had everything you need Cons: No hot water in downstairs bathroom and tub drained too slow Host did not respond until after we left and told us this was not an issue. I guess we are liars. Upstairs bathroom claw foot tub set too high for elderly to safely use and water pressure was too weak to wash hair. In the kitchen the knob to turn on the fire would come on if you barely brushed by it walking past. Normally you would have to push in and then turn. Not this one. One-ply toilet paper Master bedroom had no closet access or drawers to hang clothes Sits on very noisy street with lots of traffic so hard to enjoy porch The overall area is not very nice We felt it was not worth 500/night and requested partial refund due to no hot water showers for 4 days but that was declined. We would not recommend this house or host.

Tatiana's place was beautifully decorated and lovely to stay in. She was responsive every step of the way. The only two things to be aware of are 1) The "single bed" in the fourth bedroom is actually a couch. We were able to find sheets and a pillow, but it's not really a bed. 2) The upstairs bathroom only has a handheld showerhead, so the only functional shower that is not a bath is located downstairs. Other than that, the place is beautiful and was a lovely stay.
