Melanie was a wonderful. receptive hostess. She was very accommodating and sympathetic to my family's need of urgent lodging. We traveled from Ohio to Mississippi for a loved ones funeral, a 12 hour drive. She was gracious enough to let us check in as soon we got there. Melaine's place was 10 minutes from my parents, the church. and other venues we needed. Thank you so much. I will definitely stay at her place again.

We booked the farmhouse because it was cheaper than three hotel rooms for a family member's funeral service. I can't even begin to tell you how much this place means to all of us now. It was a place for us to comfortably eat, rest, laugh and cry. My only complaint would be that the windmill made a horrible scratching noise in the upstairs room, but even that turned into a whimsical trait we loved about the house.

We rented the house for wedding guests of our daughter’s wedding. Not only did it offer a secluded country setting and sanctuary for our guests, it was the perfect setting for the girls to get dressed for the wedding. We so enjoyed this house and will definitely rent again.

There isn't enough room to write about how peaceful and relaxing this farmhouse is. We loved it. Best sleep I have gotten in years. They even had a box fan I could use. Several great sitting areas outside that made me wonder about all the fabulous conversations that were had in the past. It felt like a family home and we were part of the family.
