We had such a special stay here. The outdoor area is spectacular and the villa is like a museum! We used the pool, jacuzzi, BBQ area, kitchen, and pool table - everything worked perfectly. There are plenty of things to do and lots of space for a large group - we couldn’t recommend this place enough! The hosts live on site and are so kind and happy to help whenever you need something. The property is very easy to find and there are shops, gyms and anything you would need in the local town (10 min drive away). The local train station called Figline Valdarno is also super useful for those who don’t have a car - it’s only a 10 min drive away and can get to Florence in 25 mins.
We spent a week at La Specola, a group of 13, and it was wonderful. The property is spectacular , the rooms are comfortable and clean, the kitchen spacious and well equipped. Everyone enjoyed the beautiful pool . The owners warmly welcomed us, they live on the property but we only saw them when we needed them. I highly recommend this property.
We had such a great time! It is a stunning place. The host was extremely welcoming. We would go back in a flash if we could.
Beautiful, comfortable villa on the most picturesque property! We had a lovely here stay during our week and I would be happy to rent this villa again in the future! The owners who live on the property were so friendly, welcoming, and helpful. My only critique was with the chef dinner we had at the villa during our stay. The dinner was quite expensive and I was disappointed to be served dried pasta noodles from a bag after we had been eating delicious fresh pasta all week long.
Absolutely beautiful property with tons of space. The photos do not do it justice. The pool is amazing. The 1000 property is super clean with well stocked kitchens. Gorgeous grounds. The hosts are present every day, sometimes sitting nearby watching our children play. They also entered our rooms while we were out. If you value privacy, this is not the property for you.
