I really enjoyed my weekend at the lighthouse! It was a great unique location, definitely fitting in the vibe of a weekend get away to enjoy the art and culture of Marfa. Jeff and Monika were incredibly helpful and responsive as hosts. The outdoor space is nice, and the kitchen has all of the basic amenities you would need for simple breakfasts and lunches. But really the key to this place is the beautiful sunrises and sunsets that can be seen from the loft. Waking up to the beautiful sunrise over the Texas landscape really made the trip! While I would recommend the lighthouse to other guests I do include a few extra things to consider for potential guests: For plus sized/bigger individuals who are thinking of this place, the bathroom, specifically the toilet is a very small space that might cause difficulty. Because of the shape of the building etc there can be some loud noise because of the wind. So light sleepers make sure to bring headphones etc.

We had a great stay at Jeff’s. The house is very unique, private, and located within easy walking distance of downtown Marfa. We utilized many of Jeff’s local suggestions for restaurants and other great places to visit - we really enjoyed our trip. The lockbox was slightly tricky to use, but we figured it out by the end of our trip. We hope to be back!!

Jeff and Monika were great hosts. The home is one of the most interesting in the city. Spotless and looked exactly like pictured. If you stay anywhere during your trip to Marfa, stay here. The guides on restaurants and things to do was also very helpful. 10/10, will be coming back asap!
