I can’t say enough about this place and it’s location; my second time staying here…AWESOME! There are several shops and a couple supermarkets; all within walking distance. Being foreigner (American); I felt very safe and welcomed by the people in the community. Secured private parking; a refreshing feeling to know for any place in Italy!! It’s about 25 mins drive to NAS Sigonella with no traffic…other than the occasional farmer on his tractor. :-). 20 mins to the airport and 25 mins to downtown Catania. Agnone Bagni beach is 15 mins away. Oh yeah, Francesco has a VERY nice condo at Agnone Bagni that’s literally 24 steps from the beach!! A MUST VISIT!! It certainly is as the online description depicts and Francesco is active and super responsive to your requests and messages. Again, a great place for the money and location!

Simply…splendid!! From an American who has never been to Italy or Sicily. Unfortunately, Francesco’s schedule didn’t allow him to meet me on day 1, but his mother was there instead…a very lovely and sweet lady indeed! GRACIAS! He and I did meet on day 3 and we hit off from the start…he picked up where his Mom left off with the hospitality. The location is perfect and extremely safe. There’s a full size supermarket, a police district station, a gas station and several shops and restaurants within a 3 to 5 mins (less than 500 meters) walk from the apartment!! AWESOME! It has its own secure parking that’s NOT on the street…a major plus in my book. Francesco is an excellent host; hands down!! Effectively communicated everything very well and his English very good! Bottom line he’s a genuinely good person and made me feel welcomed from the moment we met…thank you!! I will definitely stay here again or at one of his other properties.

We highly recommend Francesco's apartment as a place to stay - we will be back. Being on the edge of town, the location has easy access to the autostrada's. There are local restaurants within a 3 minute walk that serve great food and 3 grocery stores nearby to stock up on supplies if you wish to cook yourself. We went sightseeing every day and the location of the apartment made it very easy to get to Taormina, Argigento, Syracusa, Etna, Sigonella and Catania. Just beautiful with so much history. The host was so helpful even helping us to try and locate a missing case. There is everything you need in this apartment, from laundry to kitchen amenities even a barbaque grill to cook. The host left ingredients for a meal and bottle of wine. So thoughtful. My wife loved the sheets and window dressings, everything in the apartment was so well thought out in terms of furnishings. We recommend this place to stay 100%. Just wonderful. As i said we will definitely be back to this modern apartment.

Francesco was always available for any questions. Shops and restaurants within walking distance. The freshly renovated apartment was a huge plus for me. The building was clean and easy to access.
