We were greeted by Dawn at arrival and we’re given a tour of the property. The area is gorgeous and everything was as listed. We definitely recommend staying here and will hopefully come back soon!

This place was more than expected. Such beautiful charm and the painted clouds on the ceiling were amazing. Calm and inviting. Will definitely be booking again.

The cloud room is where I spent a couple of nights preparing for a section hike in the Appalachian Train with my two children in their first backpacking trip. Dawn’s place was absolutely perfect to stage for our hike. The night before we left we had a sound bath session which put us at peace and in the right mindset for our journey. I believe this was one of the reasons our kids did so well on the trip. I must say that this place is not for everyone. I would recommend this spot if you are looking for a minimalist atmosphere to regroup and recharge. She provides shared spaces that really promotes community with her guests. The space is perfect for those flexible “go with the flow” type travelers. Dawn was amazing and very accommodating for us. We spent a lot of time relaxing on her property and having really great conversation. I would absolutely stay here again!

An amazing home, and a beautiful location make this an amazing retreat. The place is a tad remote, which is a blessing for escaping the madding crowds, but also means you plan accordingly. The host has a well regarded healing practice in case you’re interested. The rivulet running through the property and a large lawn-meadowy expanse provide a tranquil backdrop to the rustic log house settlement. Wi-Fi and cellular signal were unreliable, so don’t plan on launching a vlog while staying here.
