We had a fabulous stay, the house was spotlessly clean and very spacious. The location was brilliant with fantastic views of the mountains and was so peaceful. The village is a 5 minute drive away (you couldn’t really walk it as the road is windy and narrow) and is very pretty with places to eat and a lovely bakery, you can’t do a big food shop here but we were told this by the host beforehand and made sure we went to a big supermarket on the coast before we drove into the mountains. There is a great coffee machine but no kettle so tea drinkers like me will have to boil water on the stove which wasn’t a problem, I would have just packed my travel kettle if I had known. The pool was covered up because the weather had been bad but the host uncovered it when we asked them but did cover it up again on our last night so we couldn’t use the pool on our last morning before we checked out. I’d definitely recommend this accommodation and I’d book it again if I returned to Gran Canaria.

We arrived quite late because of problems with car rental Juan waited and drove to meet us at the local town and we followed him to the property with wine and fruit waiting for us. The house was spotless and spacious and the views are breathtaking. The area is a perfect peaceful retreat and great for hiking.

We booked at very short notice. It was a very nice place. Very spacy, beautiful view, friendly host. we will go back there again.

Amazing location to stay, just 5mins outside the town. Perfect base for cycling and hiking in the middle of the Island.

This is a jewel of a holiday place in an absolute stunning scenic setting. The views from the patio over the mountains, the valley and the sea in the far distance is simply breath taking. You can truly relax there in the quiet surrounding. The house is spacious and very clean, as described in the listing. The broadband is working well. The house is in a perfect location for walking, there are plenty of fantastic walks in near driving distance. San Bartomole is a pretty village with a great bakery and a few small shops and restaurants. The neighbouring village San Lucia has fantastic restaurants, definitely worth a visit. We can highly recommend this place and we will be definitely returning.
