Nice and Peaceful location. Room clean. Staff very responsive and helpful. Bring an extra blanket, it can get a little cool at night. Very cozy stay.

Easy place to stop on a roadtrip, lots of communication and clear instructions. It was nice to have off-street parking and the beautiful breakfast the next day was a nice surprise!

I stopped in Vicksburg for the night on my trip from Dallas to Atlanta and felt more comfortable staying in an Airbnb vs a hotel for safety/cleanliness reasons. Harley was very friendly by checking if I had arrived. The common area was ready for me (lights on) and I appreciated the key already being in the door to my room. The room was small (as expected) but tidy and I liked that the fan was on when I walked in. The bathroom was unfortunately not as clean as I was hoping/expecting. Specifically, the toilet and shower could have been better cleaned. The water pressure wasn’t great, but I was happy to take a warm shower as it was extremely cold outside. The bed was comfy and linens were soft/felt clean. I was driving a new car so I appreciated the driveway/small lot available. It was well lit enough that I felt comfortable enough unloading my stuff outside by myself. Outside of the property was quiet all night so I felt safe enough being there alone too.

We stayed in the William Faulkner Room, which is not in the Duff Green Mansion, but only a couple blocks away in another building. Breakfast at the mansion was amazing - definitely make the time to get there on time and stay for the house tour/ story! The owners have done a great job bringing the history back to life. Our room was great for a short stay, but just know that the bathroom wall does not go all the way to the ceiling and the walls are thin throughout the building. Checkin was easy with the keypad entry, and the bed and pillows were AMAZINGLY COMFORTABLE!! I need to find out where to get those pillows....

we were there one night. Great experience. The breakfast at The Mansion was delicious and the tour was very informative! We would definitely stay again!
