We had a lovely stay at this comfortable and well-appointed home. Superb location just up the road from Tahoe City and 15 minutes from Truckee. Quiet and convenient location - a great place to relax and enjoy winter sports, beautiful Lake Tahoe and great dining.
It was an experience to remember, for our families first time being in Tahoe they will remember this trip for ever!!! It was just how they advertised, great place and highly recommended.
Great place for the whole family. The house is well stocked with everything you need. The kitchen has good equipment, ample tools and dishes. The location is perfect. We would definitely stay again!
Took my mom and my kitty cat there for a shredding trip. We got there right after the snowstorm, host was able to clear out the driveway before our arrival, as well as the path to hot tub, very considerable. Everything is clean, spacious garage, great location, close to kings beach, town, ski resorts all around. Host was very responsive, checked in multiple times before, during and after our stay, make sure we have everything we need. Always appreciated people with great communication, looking forward for staying again sometime in the future!
Our family of 5 enjoyed our stay at VRA Tahoe’s place. The proximity between Northstar and the lake is awesome, there’s sledding nearby and trails to hike right out the front door too. Our 2 year old had a incident in which the end of the foosball table pole hit her in the eye by her older sibling and Jason was super responsive with first aid kit location as well as letting me know he’d get rubber protectors for the metal ends for future guests’ stays. The kitchen is well stocked and the hot tub was hot and clean. We appreciated the great communication and how proactive VRA Tahoe was with helping us out.

One of my favorite things about the home is the neighborhood. Tucked back on a private street, it's incredibly quiet. It almost feels like camping. There is a trail just across the street, for great hiking.
Taxis, Uber, Lyft are around but we recommend having a vehicle to get around.
