We had a lovely long weekend at Sue’s place. It was snuggly warm and comfortable. We enjoyed excursions to Mt Beauty, Yackendandah, Beechworth and Mt Piolet. Great winter escape.

We loved our stay. The cottage was perfect. So comfortable and the extra bits provided were a treat. We had homemade salami and cheese platter delivered to us night one. It was delicious with our complementary bottle of vino. The kitchen had all the things including homemade jam and farm laid eggs. We loved it. We had kangaroos and a bunch of beautiful birds visit us in the mornings. We will definitely be back. Thanks to you both for such a lovely stay.

Suzanne’s property was up on a hill, a seperate building to the main house. I missed the turn as there was not much to indicate the property but once I knew my way around it was fine. Suzanne was there to greet me and was always contactable when needed. Thank you! The coffee machine didn’t work so she brought me some chocolates which was a nice gesture. The place had all amenities you needed with bread eggs milk oil etc. There is nothing better than having an airbnb with all the things you need! Even the bathroom was stocked up. I thought the place might have more garden but it was rather hilly and mainly the house, but it was enough for me as i spent most time out in the nearby towns. I appreciate the lovely fireplace and all the wildlife and serene views of the mountains to feel rejuvenated and relaxed. Thank you again Suzanne for your hospitality.

What a gorgeous, cosy, clean and wholesome place for a retreat. The cottage itself has lovely character, is abundantly stocked with not only the basics but also additional little luxuries like homemade jams, local bread and wine. The wood fire is beautiful. Sue and Danny were extremely kind, accommodating and more than willing to let me explore their property. Couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay to experience the peace and tranquility of the countryside whilst also being able to explore the nearby beechworth.
