We stayed for a much needed restful few days. The house was just the right size for mom, dad, two teenagers and two school age. The beds were comfy and we had to look up the brand of pillows because we loved them. It had cool touches that made us feel at home. We love packwood and rustic getaways so it fit our expectations. Because it’s so out of the way, it won’t be as squeaky clean as someplace constantly in use and that was expected. We took full advantage of the hot tub, the cozy living room and super appreciated the generous amount of towels. The friendly Elk across the street, the brewery downtown the many trails we’re also favorites. Slake trail park was also a favorite. Looking forward to coming back in Warmer weather!

We arrived and the house was very dirty, windows, TV, dinning table. Spider webs everywhere… ceiling fans, light fixtures above dinning table, walls. The comforters on both queen beds had stains (not washed). The main bath tub was clogged and I had to unclog it (disgusting glob of hair in the drain). Two different CO2/Smoke detectors alarming. One chirping and the other full alarm and wouldn’t turn off, I had to remove/disconnect from the ceiling. I realize that this is a property in the country/mountains, but the level of dirty was unacceptable! We pay a cleaning fee only to arrive to an extremely dirty property with defective plumbing fixtures, and dirty linens/comforters… not very happy at all!

House was cute, bedrooms were nice. I have little kids that have to use the bath tub, when I went to plug the drain black, stuff came out of the drain. Hot tub could also have been cleaner. I was told that there was a gas grill on the property, there was only a charcoal grill with only a small amount of charcoal available. Not a gas fireplace inside which was advertised, but and electric plug in one, with the gas line right behind it. The gas valves were not locked and could have easily been messed with when kids are around.
