Thirtha Qudus is een prachtige permacultuur farm. Het is een plek om naartoe te gaan om echt tot rust te komen. De kamer is simpel maar sfeervol en doordat je op het platteland bent hoor je natuurgeluiden. Dit werkt erg rustgevend. Mocht je op zoek zijn naar een luxe accommodatie, dan is Thirta Qudus niet de plek. Doordat de douches en de composttoiletten op een andere plek zijn voelt het ook een beetje als kamperen. Op het terrein groeien verschillende planten en bomen. Ook zijn er groentebedden, kruiden en zijn er drie vijvers. De eigenaresse Safia was helaas niet aanwezig. Maar medewerker Wati en haar dochters hebben er alles aan gedaan om voor een prettig verblijf te zorgen. Wati heeft ons rondgeleid door de farm en van alles verteld. Ook heeft ze een workshop zeep maken gegeven. Er waren ook workaway vrijwilligers waarmee we leuke gesprekken hebben gehad. Thirtha Qudus is een aanrader als je een off the beaten track (werk)vakantie wil en geïnteresseerd bent in permacultuur.

The place match the description. Even though we lost on the day of our check in due to the inaccurate location share via the airbnb but we managed to arrive on Safia place. I love this place. It’s very peaceful. Fall in love with the room! We had our family great time together play the board games in the open air mini library. Making our own breakfast in an open kitchen area. They have separated compost toilet with less than 5min walking distance but surprisingly the compost toilet is very clean and no bad smell! This compost toilet is new experience for us. Love the fresh air that you could not get in KL. Totally recommended 🫰

The stairs and the toilet have a big problem, as we didn't think the stairs were built without the barricade. Especially for my colleague, she was in her 60s. When she wanted to go to the toilet at night, regardless of the distance of the toilet, the stairs were indeed dangerous. As for the toilet, we didn't expect it was VERY old-fashioned and dangerous, fill-in toilets （which you cover your poops with soil instead of flushing it away） With that, I'm thankful and grateful for the host's help with the booking. Yet, I'm sorry we didn't make a good impression for the host as we are not quite satisfied with the whole environment. 😥

Safia was a kind and gracious host. We stayed during Ramadhan and Safia kindly provided suhoor (pre-dawn) meal for us, and breakfast during the day for the little ones.
