This contemporary barn conversion was completed in 2021 and is set within a picturesque courtyard. This stylish former barn is ideally placed for exploring Wimborne, the New Forest National Park, the stunning countryside of Cranborne Chase or the nearby South coast to enjoy the sandy beaches of Bournemouth and Poole. The modern kitchen lets you cater indoors, or visit the excellent pubs nearby. There is a shared paddock ideal for dogs. An off-road parking space for one car is available. The property entrance is through a shared courtyard garden set well back from the road. Your private entrance door opens into the property, a stylish open-plan lounge and kitchen area with a cooking island perfect for inclusive chatty food preparation enhanced by the original 'A' frame vaulted ceiling beams which are throughout the building. The kitchen has everything you will need to cook up a storm with an electric Neff oven and induction hob, washing machine, dishwasher, fridge/freezer and microwave. The lounge area is opposite and is equipped with a Smart internet TV. Just next door is a stylish king-size bedroom with an en-suite shower and washbasin open to the room and a separate WC. A second king-size zip and link bedroom completes the accommodation and has an en-suite shower room with shower, washbasin and WC. Bifold doors open onto the courtyard-style garden immediately outside of the kitchen area. This inviting space has furniture and is fully enclosed. There is a shared paddock, all part of our property, a short walk away ideal for picnics or dog walking. An off-road parking space for one car is available, a second space is usually available on request, across the courtyard to the front of the property.

Amazing place that was perfect for our needs. Spotlessly clean and very comfy beds. Had everything we needed for our long weekend and was ideally situated for exploring the New Forest. The Woodman Pub in Ferndown was very reasonably priced and the food was amazing. Would definitely recommend this accommodation and would love to stay again.
Daisy Cottages are perfectly located to explore both the New Forest and Dorset. We stayed in P1 which has a nice little enclosed rear outdoor area for eating out and a bbq. The barn conversion is a spectacular place to stay and has been completed to a high standard. the kitchen area is great with just enough cookwear to make your own meals should you choose to. Beds are comfortable and the ensuites make it ideal for two couples sharing. Dog walking is a little difficult from the cottage ...there is a forestry commission area just down the road but getting there is a tad dodgy so we took the car at times as you can park at the entrance to the walks.
Communication with Richard prior to our stay was very good and Helen met us on arrival to show us in. The barn was very clean and well equipped. The beds were very comfortable with nice linen and towels provided. There was only two of us staying but ample room for 4. Although the weather wasn’t great during our stay, there is a small patio area with seating which is secure for dogs and kids. There are no supplies (coffee, tea, oil, etc.) so you will need to take every with you or buy whilst your there. There is a supermarket 10 minutes away. Wimborne Minster is a lovely close by market town and Kingston Lacy, National Trust property, is under 20 minutes away. I would stay again and would recommend to others.
Richards place was beautiful and we had a super time staying there. Everything had been thought of and it was perfect. Great location to go to the seaside and beautiful country walks, I would definitely recommend this place to stay and would definitely stay again. Thank you for a great time. It was also lovely and warm throughout which made it cosy

Small hamlet of Wigbeth is about a mile from a local shop and pub, the market towns of Wimborne and Ringwood are about 8 miles away, lots of nice shops and cafe's. The New Forest is 10 minutes by car and the world heritage Jurassic coast is 30 minutes away. Poole and swanky Sandbanks is just 25 minutes by car, and Bournemouth's 10 miles of sandy beaches just 10 miles away.
A car is essential, no pavements in the country and no public transport.
