We were hoping for a quiet getaway to unwind from a rather hectic month, and this place fit the bill perfectly. The beds were comfortable, the view was gorgeous and the fire pit worked out exceptionally well. We forgot to bring our own camp chairs for it, which would be my only recommendation to others coming our to this spot. You could see signs of the remodel the host mentioned working on in progress, but not in a way that kept the space from being functional. If anything it was a neat preview for what the place will look like when they're done, and I think they're on the right track.

Michele was a great host! From the beginning she was always very responsive. She had the home stocked full of items that we might need during our stay. She was very accommodating during our stay at Chippewa Lake with friends and family who were in other cabins close by. I would definitely stay here again if we are in the area!

We had a lovely stay here! The area was beautiful and very close to where we needed to be. The scenery around the house, especially the lake view from the front porch was very peaceful. The house was clean and comfortable and we very much appreciated the homey touches the house was stocked with (popcorn, hot chocolate, etc.) that made an unexpected movie night extra cozy. We would highly recommend this place and look forward to coming back again!
