Karen was a wonderful host. She communicated very well, she was polite and down to earth. Karen met us at the dock and helped us with our luggage. She gave us a run down of everything. Her home was bright, clean, very comfortable bed. There was ac and fans. She went over and beyond to make our stay perfect. We will definitely stay there again.

Fantastic all around! We arrived by rental boat and the location is ideal. Private Dock, right there in Hope Town Harbour, but protected, inside the creek. The house, Gully's Ridge, is immaculate. Completely redone, top to bottom. Everything perfect...great Kitchen, AC, Hot Water, TV, Wifi, Cell service, nice grassy property, even a Fish cleaning station and a little Whaler to putt around in the Harbour! Rent a Golf Cart and you can hit about 5 or 6 great Restaurants and bars for lunch and dinner. Hope Town is safe and secure. We had absolutely no worries about security and we did a lot of exploring, day and night! All in all, Hopetown seems to be about 80%-90% back, after the storm. But the best part about Gully's Ridge is Karen and Robert, the owners. They are amazing. Friendly, helpful, honest hard-working people. Super-nice, and a wealth of local knowledge. It was great to just hang out with them and swap stories. Great hosts! Gully's Ridge is a definite do-over destination. Over the past 20 years we've stayed all over Abaco from Bahama Palm Shores, Casuarina, Cherokee, Little Harbour, Marsh Harbour, Great Cistern, and other spots in Hope Town, and this is the best all-around experience. Karen is the perfect host. Attentive and helpful upon check in and check out while allowing us to feel free and totally at ease for our entire trip. The house is clean and provides all you need. We used the dinghy to go across to our rented golf cart (a must to explore the island). We also rented a boat which Karen allowed us to store at the dock right in front. Easy and fun! This isn't a resort and you need a sense of adventure when you go, but that's exactly what we loved about the place.
