Raul und Celia waren echte Schätze, sie fragten immer nach, ob wir etwas brauchen oder sie für uns kochen soll. Aus den komfortablen Betten inkl. 6! Bettdecken wollten wir ungern aufstehen und mit den gebrachten Wärmflaschen konnte man die kalten Nächte gut überstehen. Besonders hervorzuheben war die sehr entgegenkommende Check-In Zeit, welche weit vor der eigentlichen Check-In Zeit lag, da wir mit dem Nachtbus aus Arequipa kamen. Alles in allem eine tolle Erfahrung, die wir bei ihnen machen durften, allerdings ist es nichts für den schmalen Gelsbeutel😉

The best room you could ask to get an unique experience at Titicaca Lake!!! Raul and his sweet family are amazing. The room is really large and very clean! The breakfast was great. The view & the sunbed are just perfect. Raul will come to pick you up at Puno with his boat and then you can have an immersive experience with them. Highly recommended to spend 2 nights there: 1 day to make the touristic visit and the 2nd day to spend some time with Raul😍 You can have dinner there, and I would highly recommend the fresh fish. You would make a mistake not to book here 😛 enjoy!!!!! PS: be careful, it can be quite cold by night but Raul will provide hot water bottles. 💋

We stayed with Raul and Celia for two nights on their homely man made island on the lake. We can safely say it has been the best experience we have had in Peru so far! The beds were large and really comfy with so many blankets to keep warm at night. The shower was boiling hot. Raul even gave us hot water bottles each night! Raul and his wife served us the most delicious food for breakfast on time every morning, as well as splendid local dishes which they cooked in the traditional way on their island. During our stay we truly got to experience local indigenous life. Raul took us out on his boat whenever we wanted to go fishing and hunting. His friendly and kind demeanour was a pleasure to see as he educated us about his people and their centuries old way of life. Also he took us to the mainland whenever we needed. We would truly recommend staying with Raul, Celia and their family in order to experience traditional Peruvian life in a safe and comfortable setting. We will be returning!
