We had a wonderful stay at The Studio. It is a beautiful, peaceful space in a lovely rural location. We especially enjoyed the lovely outside space, well equipped kitchen and comfortable bed. The studio was impeccably clean and fresh flowers, fresh herbs and homemade cake added to its warm, homely feel. Christine was an excellent host- very welcoming and friendly but giving you as much space and privacy as you needed. All in all, a great value gem of a stay.

Our second time at the church and as equally amazing as the first. We will be back for sure. Christine is a great host and responds very quickly. Christine also checked in via text to make sure we were ok and had everything we needed. You won’t be disappointed if you go to this place, a true gem in the West Country :)
Beautiful old church with everything you need. My parents stayed for the weekend as a family visit. Very spacious place my parents slept comfortably and plenty of room for all the family to sit and enjoy a evening together ( 7 of us inc grandkids ) I’m sure we will return next summer

I've spent my career writing and broadcasting about food and styling food for photography, so food - or rather, eating - is one of my main interests in life, along with art, music and animals. My husband Don is an artist and photographer who for many years used the studio for photography, and we worked together on images for many books, magazine features, and advertising campaigns. We have lived here for over 30 years and we're now both now pretty much retired, enjoying a more relaxed lifestyle. We have been hosting (and travelling) with Airbnb for seven years and we absolutely love it. We've welcomed some wonderful, interesting guests - singles, couples, groups of friends and families, we've been the venue for three marriage proposals, several honeymoons, many romantic weekends, and numerous anniversary and birthday treats. The studio has also been used as a film location. Our guests have visited from all over the world, including New Zealand, America, Canada, China, Europe, and of course from all over the UK. We have been very fortunate, and it has been a pleasure to host such diverse and fascinating, friendly people.
