贝尔法斯特 · 民居里的独立房间 · 1室1床1.5卫 · 可住2人 · Modern double with a view in period property
Set in a leafy residential part of Belfast, you’ll love my place because of the spacious layout and character of this 1930s house with its original features, including high ceilings and fireplace. The luxurious bedroom has a comfortable double bed and some great views allowing guests to relax in comfort after a long day of business, travelling, walking or sight seeing. My place would suit travellers looking for a comfortable base to explore belfast and beyond for a few nights. Your room gives access to all your home comforts for WIFI, and Smart TV to name a few.
My flying visit to Jim’s place was perfect- exactly what I needed after a long day on my bike. Jim’s communication was faultless and some lovely, thoughtful touches. Highly recommend. Thanks Jim.
We enjoyed our stay. We had been pretty busy on our trip until this point and Jim's place was a great place to stay in and just rest for the evening. We were very comfortable and felt welcomed by Jim! We would definitely stay here again!
My stay at Jim’s was one of the best stays I’ve had. Very nice home and friendly host. Bus station a couple blocks away from home that will lead you into town and back. Very affordable. Highly recommended.
Staying at Jim's Airbnb was a highlight of my trip. Jim's hospitality made me feel welcomed and comfortable right from the start. The place is cozy, clean, and ideally located close to attractions like Belfast Castle and Cave Hill trail, plus it's near public transport. Jim's local recommendations were spot on, enhancing my visit to Northern Ireland. It's a perfect spot for anyone wanting a mix of city access and quiet neighborhood charm. Highly recommend for a memorable stay!
North belfast is really up and coming neighborhood, a few years ago it was probably seen as less desirable than south or east. There really is a lot to do within a 10-15 mins walk of my house, with real focus on the outdoors, parks and hikes.
SuperMarkets
There are both Asda and Lidl Supermarkets around 10 mins walk from my place for essentials
Cavehill, Belfast Castle and Zoo
I have lived in North belfast for a few years and one of my favorite walks is definitely worth the walk, offering some of the best views of belfast and to the mourne mountains 50kms away or out to sea the trail head is 15 mins from my house. A map and route is below:
Waterworks
A great park 1.5km walk from my house with large duck pond (along with some angry swans) that's really worth a walk or a run. You would be close to coffee works on the cavehill road for a really nice coffee and then can walk back to my place. Its a nice walking route. Link below for the route map below:
Loughside Park
At the end of the street on the shore road 200m is a large park and some playing fields for soccer if you want a run/walk or some fresh air.
Coffee
I can't recommend works coffee roasters enough for some light snacks, a toastie sandwich and some lovely coffee. Its a small venue run bu jim and Clare and is lovely. It's also a nice walk from my place
There is plenty more in the digital guide for Belfast
Belfast is a very walkable city especially if exploring the various “quarters” which are usually only a 20 minute walk from each other.
The Best way to use public transport is via the MLink app which allows you to buy bus and train tickets etc via contactless/apple pay via app without cash. It can be downloaded from the app stores here . An all day ticket is around £3.50
Local Taxi/Cab Companies have some good apps that allow contactless/apple pay. Its around £8-10 from the bus station to the house if going by taxi. You can use the links below to download the apps. Uber also operates in Belfast and is comparable to local taxi companies in price.
