We had a great stay at Hans Georgs place. For our needs it was perfect. We were 5 adults just there for an event which was close by. The area has all you need close by and good transportation inc fairly easy to get to the Stansted airport Kitchen is well equipped rooms were comfortable. Lots and lots of space for a london Appartement. Very safe too. Also very quiet surroundings although you are in the middle of the hustle and bustle of Dalston/Hackney which is great. Communication with Hans Peter is very prompt and clear. Would recommend. Maybe bit tricky with very small kids because of 2 steep staircases.

We loved the location. The unit was comfortable and included everything we needed, although no freezer. Light and sound flooded the 3rd floor open space and the washroom was two flights down, so it didn’t seem like a full 3 bedroom unit as listed. We adapted the thin, springy mattresses by sleeping on duvets. The unit would suit a small group of adults who use the unit lightly and only sleep in the space rather than our family of 5 adults and an infant. There were glass pedestal tables throughout and a makeshift sofa (a day bed with a piece of wood propped behind that shifted). Hans Georg has exacting standards for guests. His post-stay feedback was negative and vague - leaving us confused with a bad taste in our mouths - asking if we had a party and if we took a towel (we did neither!). As we tidied up (washed all dishes, mopped floors etc.) and left the unit as we found it, we were unclear about Hans Georg’s concerns, and unfortunately this dampened our enthusiasm about our stay.

Lovely, big, quiet and well equipped apartment in a special location close to shops, cafés, restaurants and transport.
