I want to start by saying I absolutely loved everything about this house. Truly a wonderful place in every sense of the word. The bed, amazingly comfortable. The bathroom, yall that bathtub for a few seconds was the center of the universe. The kitchen, I cooked the best japanese food I've ever made in there. Lastly, that projector room, amazing views and a great place to watch movies and relax. Well designed, spectacularly clean, an oasis in the sands. Our hosts both were amazing and went so far above and beyond. They stepped up in time of crisis, risked their lives when it was completely and utterly no necessary. My deepest thanks to both of yall, we are truly appreciative of every second of your kindness. So, Our stay for the new year was everything we were hoping for. Until the Earthquake, A freak event of record breaking proportions. but in that time of need our host got us where we needed to go and checked on use. 10 stars is a more accurate for this trip.

Das mit Abstand schönste Airbnb, das wir je gemietet haben. Ein ganz besonderer Ort… Äußerst geschmackvolle und gleichzeitig funktionale Einrichtung und Ausstattung. Private Lage mit direktem Meerzugang. Außerdem haben sich Takuo und Emiko größte Mühe gegeben, unseren Aufenthalt noch angenehmer zu machen. DANKE!

Amazing stay at Noto peninsula, something to really look forward and enjoy every moment. Sunsets are spectacular. Interior design very well selected and easy to calm down. Thank you Takuo.

Takuo and Emiko have created a little paradise by the side of the sea in Kuroshima. It’s comfortable, spacious yet cozy, spotless and charming. Everything has been so thoughtfully put together - the view of the sunset from the bed, the big bathtub, the Italian leather chairs for reading in, and even a washer/dryer to refresh. It has everything you need to relax and recharge. They are kind, generous hosts. Upon arrival, Emiko gifted us freshly made muffins, Takuo gave us a tour of the town, and we enjoyed fresh soba made by a chef-in-residence at their visiting center nearby. The Captain’s House is an incredible value, and they are some of the most gracious hosts we’ve met. It’s well worth the trip from the major city centers of Japan to escape to the wild countryside and experience local life.
