Deohari Village is one of the most beautiful and less explored places in Himachal. Situated in the Sainj valley (3 hrs from Manali) this village has meadows, hikes, waterfalls and is perfect if you are looking for an offbeat Himachali stay You can reach by bus from Kullu to Deohari or take a bus from Aut bus stand. You can also come via car, the homestay is 10 min walking distance from the Deohari village parking. Our caretaker will accompany/guide you to the nearby hikes, meadows etc The homestay has 3 rooms, 1 common kitchen and fireplace area, 2 common balconies in each floor and 1 large common hall. There are 2 washrooms - one Indian style and the other is western style. Both the washrooms are not attached to the rooms and are located right outside the house (as traditional Himachali homes do not have washrooms inside the home) Heater, extra blankets are available. Organic, farm fresh food is also available at a nominal price

Sanchita's place in Deohari, owned by Manchandji (local villager) is a farm stay experience in the mountains. In Summers, this is incredibly peaceful (to the extent that I thought I was deaf when I woke up suddenly at 2a.m.) The place and entire village has a natural Deodar wood aroma which adds to the vibe. There's nature trails nearby, including a secluded waterfall, and one of the best meadows in Himachal. The people owning the property are one of the kindest souls and will take care of your needs. Don't expect a lot of luxury as this is a village stay. Do expect clean, safe, hospitable, and tranquil environment. The full wooden rooms are unbelievably beautiful and spacious at this price point. The common place upstairs is usually empty and great to work out of. Airtel 4G available at reasonable speed, but get your own 5G for high speed work preferably. Be prepared for a washroom that is not attached... although it's clean. You may not want to leave!
I had an absolutely amazing stay, thanks to Sanchita's hospitality and friendliness ☺️. Needless to say that it was a beautiful place with the most beautiful surroundings same as shown in the pictures 😍. Staying here made my trip so memorable & I loved it entirely..the peace, the serenity, the friendliness around, beautiful room with the best view and all the facilities provided here made it wonderful! ❤️

This village is so beautiful, you will fall in love with it immediately. It has uninterrupted green views of the apple orchards that go on for miles and the mountains nearby. The food served is organically grown, fresh from the farms, the milk, ghee and honey are also from the local cattle and bees.
A cup of chai while watching the sunset from our Homestay's balcony is a surreal experience you won't forget ever.

There are multiple ways to reach the village
1. By bus
A. You can take a bus from the Kullu bus stand at 2pm, which goes straight to Deohari
B. You can reach the Aut bus stand (It will come in the way if you take a bus to Manali or Kullu). Buses leave from Aut to Sainj every hour or so. From Sainj bus stand you can take a bus to Deohari village.
2. By own car
You can put the location on maps and drive to the Deohari village parking lot where our caretaker will meet you. From the parking lot, you will need to walk about 10 minutes or so to reach the property
3. By cab
You can also get a cab from Kullu bus stand to Deohari or after your booking, I can arrange a cab for you from whichever location you would like.
Travelling from the village to other areas
