pure magic! best stay of my life! the natural beauty here is unmatched. i would recommend arriving earlier than we did because the hike to the hut can be confusing in the dark. an incredibly grounding place high up in the mountains. i will be back

The weekend at Andrea's hut was one of the best peaceful weekends we had. A great place to detox from the hectic life. Please be aware that there is a bit of a hike (40-50 mins depends on the weather) to reach the hut as Andrea already mentioned. So please be prepared with good shoes. Take all your stuff with you specifically if it is snowing so you don't have to go down again during your stay. Be mindful when using the electricity as the battery charges with solar panels and it can be limited in winter. The view from the hut is breathtaking. There is a gas stove, wood burner heater and a wood stove with plenty of wood which you can use. We spent the weekend admiring the fire and enjoying the cozy atmosphere the hut offers. The place has everything you need in a remote area. It is not a luxury place but rather a nice old school hut which would allow you to disconnect and get in touch with the nature. We would definitely book this place again.

Wir hatten eine sehr schöne Zeit in der Hütte. Wie erwartet ist die Hütte sehr rudimentär, aber das wollten wir natürlich auch. Feuer machen, Wandern, Kochen & Lesen :) Andrea ist wirklich ein super Gastgeber und hat uns zu unserem Glück einiges über die Geschichte der Region erzählt. Die Bücher und Texte die in den Hütten zu finden sind, sollte man sich ansehen um zu verstehen an welchem Ort man sich aufhält. Wir überlegen definitiv wieder zu kommen.

We can’t wait to return. The holiday was largely to deal with stress, and this was the ultimate detox. Completely surrounded by nature, so peaceful, with a view of Lake Maggiore that blows you away. You can hike high, or you can watch the sun come up, or the moon emerge. You are self sufficient which we really liked; that means bringing food up the hill, but that’s part of the experience. It really is uniquely beautiful up there. I also want to say how helpful Andrea was: communication was so easy and fast. And he was particularly great regarding questions we had about our dog. Who was very welcome and loved it too! Grazie Andrea!
