Lovely location by the water, lovely to watch the tide and the wildlife, nice decking / dock. short walk to Menai Straights, easy parking, well located for day trips round Anglesey and getting shopping from supermarket in Menai Straights and getting back to the mainland. Thank you!
Lovely, peaceful retreat, loved staying there. Lovely walking and restaurants nearby, and perfect for a weekend break ahead where I had to also do a bit of work.
Absolutely loved this place, comfortable, warm, lovely and peaceful. Extremely well equipped kitchen. Loved the log burner too. It was exciting watching the water rise, and with that came a pair of swans. Perfect for a little get away, looking forward to visiting again.
Spectacular setting on Straits estuary; swans passing the bedroom window! Excellent and very well equipped cottage - very spacious and well appointed - serious cooker envy, wow! Close to village and bus service. Not inexpensive at £175/night in February, but worth it.
Lovely position that's really scenic. Great amenities in the upstairs with top of the range kitchen equipment. It is stylishly furnished - with designer lighting and modern TV. The internet worked well. Thought the one settee that you could use to watch the TV was so low. Views over the river that passes the house and the hills in the distance are spectacular. Its really convenient to walk into Menai Bridge for dinner or to the many coffee shops. Unfortunately many of the restaurants in town have closed - though we thought Dylans was a great place. We did have issues with the locks to both doors - one key only worked (when locking from the inside) - and only with perseverence. The double room bed very comfortable and spacious. Shower room has frosted glass - but no blinds. Shower is slow. Second bedroom has a damp issue and the dehumidifier needed emptying twice a day. Despite this would go back - as its such a lovely place.
