I stayed at John and Julie’s home in Cadiz with a couple friends and our dogs while competing at a disc dog trial being held at Lake Barkley State park. The home is updated and beautiful. It is well appointed and clean and the kitchen is awesome. We LOVED the fenced in yard, which was secure and well kept. The neighborhood is quiet and safe, with beautiful glimpses of the lake through the trees. I had a couple questions during our stay and John and Julie were always quick to reply with helpful answers! If we return to Cadiz for future trips, I would definitely stay here again.

This home is exactly like the listing. A great quiet gem of a home facing the lake across the road. We loved having ample bedrooms and sleep accommodations. The kitchen and baths were fully stocked with most items that you would find necessary, too. Plus, having the extra living space in the garage was a wonderful surprise. Looking for a fenced in backyard- this home has that as well! After an unexpected power outage at night, our hosts immediately texted us with detailed information as to where we could find candles, lighter and a flashlight. They also reassured us that they had filed a report about the outage. This was truly a commendable action because it was not just a message via Airbnb and that made us feel reassured.

For the outdoor enthusiasts, we found there is lots to do. The house was perfect for us and our dog. We chose this place for the fenced backyard and ended up loving the house. John and Julie proactively reached out to make sure check in was easy. We didn’t need anything else during our stay. Kitchen was stocked well as we cooked dinner every night. We did bring coffee and filters, however, the coffee bar section was stocked as well and I loved the setup from a design point of view. Thank you John and Julie!!

Great place to stay and close to Land Between the Lakes. The house is very nice and has everything you need. The only con is that you do get charged extra per person that stays which does make it a little difficult to plan a trip when you’re not positive who all is going to be able to make it up front. Other than that it’s a great place and I do 10/10 recommend.

The house had everything we needed and more. I liked the garage set up with the magnetic screen. There was plenty of space and parking and everything was very clean. We didn’t have the lake view we thought, but, that wasn’t necessary. I would highly recommend this home.
