This was our second stay at Cotton House for the Christmas holiday. We love the location, the pool, and how peaceful it is on the East End. One issue we had this time was that the broadband/internet stopped working on new year's eve and was down for the next 5 days. The Smart TV also did not work without broadband. Our neighbors did not experience similar disruptions. We didn't have mobile service at Cotton House so were using the wireless internet to make calls and text with family back home. I was also working remotely and needed access to my email daily. We ended up having to drive down the road a couple times per day to make calls or check emails. The property agent did apologize, but they did not offer any temporary solutions. For the amount of money we were paying for our stay, they should have offered us something for those 5 days. Our neighbors continued to have broadband/internet so we know that it was possible.
